POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

In 2023, I made a tweet saying I'll speak at a TEDx event one day. My first TED talk, The Art of Doing is now on Youtube. I hope this is a reminder to someone that you're never wrong to dream.

I'm grateful to God for all that went down in the last decade of my life and I'm set to see what he has planned for the next decade.

Thank you to my @tedxcovenantuniversityclub family. Thank you Covenant University.

I've attached a link to access my TED talk's slides and a link to the full video in my bio. I had too much fun editing this, lol. I'll let the full video do the rest of the talking.

Knowing is one thing. Doing is another.

In The Art of Doing, Daniel Aigbiniode reminded us that ideas only become real when we move.

Break it down. Build. Break out. Be original. Be real.

Five B’s. One simple challenge:

Start.

Because sometimes, the difference between an idea and a reality is simply the courage to do something about it.

I gave my first TED talk at my first TEDx event. 🌟

Last Saturday, I stood on the renowned red dot of the @tedxcovenantuniversity stage and delivered a 16-minute talk on “The Art of Doing”. I’m honestly still starstruck and left to me, I’ll honestly relive the experience again and again without any doubt. I get flashbacks of parts of my presentation and it’s almost like I’m getting on an emotional rollercoaster all over again. Hearing people read out “The Five B’s” in the exact same order I said it days after the event, recalling my “Carpe Diem” and “Carpe Noctem” references is so fulfilling and I do not take this feeling for granted.

I tried my absolute best to summarize months of planning and preparation and deliver the output as direct as possible. I have no words to describe the feeling of having people respond and resonate with even the little details in everything I presented almost immediately after my talk.

To the @tedxcovenantuniversityclub team, what a team full of brains. I’ve never worked with such a set of people that went so all out, pushed boundaries and even redefined leadership to see that this event was successful. They’ve become the family I never planned to have. They made me love Friday afternoons because of club meetings and their steadfast dedication to quality and excellence pushed me every single time. And to my family and friends, I did do it.

None of this was by me, regardless. All of the glory returns to God for wisdom, precise execution and much more words can not express.

It’s just the beginning, there’s always a better end. Thank you Jesus ❤️

Speaker 6 ❤️

Daniel Aigbiniode is a final-year architecture student of Covenant University. In 2022, he finished as a Finalist out of over 120,000 applicants in the Rise Challenge, a global social impact competition and in last August, he was inducted into the class of 2025 as a Millennium Fellow by the MCN and the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) where in both, he spearheaded an initiative concerned with bridging the digital divide gap in underserved communities.

He is the creative lead at Ogieate, a creative agency focused on enhancing experiences through visuals. Daniel believes in serial execution. While others may get lost in the wait for the perfect moment, he is a firm believer that momentum is the greatest catalyst for innovation. To him, serial execution isn’t just about finishing tasks, it is the disciplined practice of moving from one bold idea to the next with precision.

Behind every great TEDx post is a designer who obsessed over the details.

We are proud to announce @theedanyell as our Member of the Month for February. His dedication to the Design Team and his ability to bring our ‘Ideas Worth Spreading’ to life visually has been nothing short of inspiring❤️

Decided to spice up a cleanup session and make it an hour longer.
Where did we get all that energy less than 24 hours after our semester jury? I don't know 😂

@ofo_arinze did not really have patronizing comments. 😔
This is what H101 boys were up to instead of packing up.
Should I do this more often?
