I found a way and I made it!

T-minus 10 days, I will be graduating from THE REAL Illustrious Clark Atlanta University, joining the 30% of Black women who hold a bachelor’s degree. By the grace of my Lord and Savior, I completed college in three and a half years with Cum Laude honors. This journey was not easy; I faced many trials and tribulations, BUT GOD had other plans for me!

I give all praise to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! God has guided me and ordered my steps. To my parents: thank you for the unwavering love, support, and encouragement you gave me throughout these three and a half years. Whenever I needed you, you were there to provide a shoulder to lean on. Momma and Daddy, you were the strength I needed when I felt like giving up. Special thanks to my family and mentors for your advocacy and advice, which made my path a little easier.

Choosing Clark Atlanta University was the best decision I ever made. Thank you, Clark Atlanta, for accepting me into your institution and allowing me to be a part of the Panther family. I came to CAU as a girl with a lot to work on; now, I am leaving as a woman with a lot to work with. The best HBCU in the land shaped me into an educated Black woman.

Forever a Panther,

Job 22:27-28
