Two years ago, my best friend asked me if we should try something between us, and I said yes. It was then I believed the universe was truly magical.

Exactly two years later while in Singapore, after a phenomenal anniversary dinner at SushiSamba and visit to the enchanting Supertree light show, my best friend unexpectedly got down on one knee and asked the question.

The atmosphere was mystical, so ambient, so special, that in the midst of the happiest tears and utmost confusion of how this happened under my nose, I overwhelmingly could only keep saying yes, once again.

Love, magic and divine union was always something that happened to others, but in that moment, it struck so deeply in my heart that I, too, now had my own to both experience and share with the world.

My love, my life, we’re getting married 🥹❤️ 💍

After years of descent, and integration on the ascent, it’s a privilege and honour to announce my upcoming 5th release, The Shadow of Success, written in contribution with Daniel.

Laced with my personal experience, The Shadow of Success is a structural inquiry into the organising forces that produce identity, reward adaptation, and normalise disconnection, whilst packaging it as ‘success’ that hollows out the interior architecture.

I’ve never been more excited to go to Woolworths!

As the world gives their finest round of applause to the most self-sacrificed high-performer, the self continues to shrink and distort to maintain said external feedback loop.

Now, there is nothing wrong with excelling, aiming higher - but what needs to come into question is what is the fuel of this, and where is it foundationed. Because when that remains unexamined, the line between who you are and what you’ve had to become become to blur.

What looks like success from the outside is often sustained by patterns that were never questioned, only refined.

Achievement unto itself, also isn’t a problem. It’s what had to be organised, suppressed, or shaped in order to make that level of output possible, and how easily that structure becomes the only way you know how to exist.

So when everything looks like it’s working, why can’t you find yourself anywhere inside it?

This morning, Daniel took me out on a lovely morning date to Body Worlds: a fascinating exhibition with live human specimens and fun interactive displays. With a toastie in one hand and chai latte in the other (both made by my fiance ❤️), I was able to take the time to reflect on the journey of my own body throughout this life. The visceral remembering of the body as an entire realm that I, like many of us, was never truly taught or given the space to develop a relationship with.

There’s a real gravitas in that recognition, and an underlying sadness in seeing how deeply we’ve been conditioned and led astray from respecting and honouring the very home of our soul; the vehicle in which we interface and enjoy this reality, the place that carries every experience, every emotion, every moment of being alive.

To be disconnected from our own body is to be distanced from our innate intelligence, which is why seemingly simple advice such as to just “trust yourself” can feel so out of reach when there’s no relationship with the place that is responsible for holding that truth.

Because the body isn’t just physical, it includes our emotional landscape, our memory, and our lived archive. Bessel van der Kolk explores this deeply in The Body Keeps the Score; everything is held onto until it’s processed, stored for us whether we’ve had the capacity to face it or not.

And for souls brave to confront what’s been ignored and buried: when that relationship begins reforming, even slowly, truth doesn’t need to be searched for in the same way. We can begin to trust our internal and guidance, ceasing the need for external authorities, seeking courses, as we learn how to truly orient ourselves in life.

There’s a vastness to this that words can’t fully hold and I know this isn’t a passing curiosity for me. But this offers a lifetime of work for this soul’s journey; continuing to explore, honour, and listen to the depth of what mind and others’ body reveals.

Wedding planning with my best friend, my lover, my fiancé, has been everything at once; exciting, disappointing, serious, beautiful, and messy in all the ways we didn’t expect.

We’ve found ourselves exploring the shadow side of weddings, the way this “modern ritual” can be co‑opted by marketing, aesthetics, and expectation… turning something sacred into something performative.

It can become an economy fuelled by emotion, where the day drifts toward grandiosity, endless spending, and quiet pressure to mirror what’s already been done. And in that, it’s easy to lose sight of what this was always meant to be: two hearts choosing, in the flesh, to build a life as one.

But in seeing that clearly, we’ve also been drawn deeper into the light. It’s given us the chance to return to what’s real, and what’s sacred, so we can shape a day that feels intimate, intentional, and alive. Something that reflects us, not just tradition. Something that holds meaning as much as it holds joy.

And along the way, we’ve been surprised (in the best way) by the love surrounding us. Hearing the excitement from family and friends, knowing how many people are holding this moment with us, has been incredibly moving. For that, and for all of you, we feel deep gratitude and cannot wait to see you at our wedding ❤️

We’re all looking for something real.

In an artificial world of false constructs and games, the heart yearns for the deepest, realest parts of the cosmos.

It won’t be found in the world, but in the one place that is the whole cosmos itself - the heart.

And when you arrive there, reality as a whole rearranges in the most magical of ways.

The return to Love is the greatest return there is ❤️

Singapore has been everything it looks like — the skyline, the warmth, the sense of stepping into something that feels far removed from our normal life. It’s been one of the most incredible experiences we’ve ever had, and we don’t take that lightly.

But it also hasn’t felt right to leave it at that, especially after hearing from people who see something like this as just another holiday, something you decide on and make happen when you feel like it.

This wasn’t that.

This trip came from a very clear line we drew with ourselves last year when we moved out and took on the full weight of building a life properly. At that point, this wasn’t guaranteed, and we treated it that way — either we found a way to make it happen without abandoning everything else we were responsible for, or we didn’t go at all.

There wasn’t a version where we put it on a card and figured it out later. That option didn’t exist for us.
So what followed was a quieter kind of work. Selling parts of our old life, not because it was easy, but because it was necessary. Letting go of things that carried history and comfort, and turning them into something practical. Choosing restraint, over and over, and working within what was actually there rather than what we wished was there, including financial damage that had to be faced, not bypassed.

Nothing about it was casual. It was built deliberately, through decisions that don’t show up in photos.

So yes, we’ve had an incredible time here, and we’re genuinely grateful for it. But what makes it feel the way it does isn’t just where we are — it’s the fact that we know exactly what it took to stand here, and what had to be released along the way, even when it wasn’t easy to let go.

That’s really why this post exists. Not to explain ourselves or make anything heavier than it needs to be, but to place the full picture alongside what’s visible.

Because when something is built this way, it carries a different weight, and it means something different to the people living it.

And for us, this means a lot more than just a holiday.

My fiancé (🥹😭) and I are overwhelmed and extremely grateful at the amount and level of heartfelt messages of love, support and excitement of sharing our engagement with you.

The generosity of love and care touched our hearts deeply and made an already life-changing moment even more richer and sweeter than we could have imagined.

It’s an incredibly special time, as there are many parts of us coming to life as they awaken to the reality of the sacred union of marriage entering into our lives.

We took an evening to celebrate together the next day and have since commenced preparations for the day we will finally get to call each other husband and wife ❤️💍
