I don’t think I was meant to be an archery hunter cuz I just can’t figure it out. But I want to be so dang bad I keep coming back. This season was tons of fun though. Lots of shenanigans in the mountains. Lots of elk, a handful of real close encounters. A few arrows actually released but no damage done. Lots of miles, lots of poops in the mountain. 18 days spent in the field and just did not have luck on my side. Eventually maybe I’ll get lucky. Til then I guess I gotta bust out the “long bow” 🔫 swipe for a collage of me hitting the same pose every time @korypeterman took a picture by @theequadzilla

Lots of excuses of why I felt like crap during this one but ultimately I actually did better than I thought I would. I was hoping for sub 1:30 and ended up being just under 1:20. We had a good time, raced, and didn’t lose our kids. I am still proudly doing the best at the burpees, lunges and wallballs 😂 I’ll always be garbage on the ski and row so that’s whatever. Was really looking forward to the sled push but peep the last video and tell me if anyone else’s turf was rolling. Felt like I just had a wheel chalk in front of one side the whole time. Very frustrated with how that felt but guess I just gotta be tougher next time. Sled pull felt like it moved better than ever but was just real slow. Anyway…there’s my Hyrox recap. Oh and I didn’t 💩 my pants so nobody will remember my name. by @theequadzilla

Got asked to do this run like 2 weeks ago. Was told we’d be running 16min miles. Easy trail through Yellowstone. Turns out my dear friend @rei11ykunz is a liar. Tried to keep with all these runners and I barely survived. These guys are all studs. I’m glad they tolerated me for like 7 hours. Mr Bubbles was way cooler than I expected and so refreshing. Hot pool right next to the river. So sick by @theequadzilla

Went on a quick scouting trip to some new country. Didnt get my normal tag so I’m trying to come up with a plan. Didn’t find the elk I was looking for but it was a quick trip. Not sure if I’ll commit to this area or somewhere else with a bow 😬 Taking suggestions for how to kill elk this year. by @theequadzilla

Sometimes work is cool. Had a ripper today and told my probie to shag hose and watch the big dog eat. 😂😂😂

Once upon a time I had a beard, a full of head of hair, muscles, and could make an entire room laugh. Fast forward to today. I’ve aged quite a bit but am still just as funny. Apparently she never loved me for my good looks. That makes sense cuz i fell in love from the second I saw her and she took a while to come around for me 😉. 8 years and we’ve had lots of laughs, plenty of adventures, and really learned how to enjoy life together. Some men may say you don’t need a “perfect woman” but I lucked out and found a loving, competitive, gritty, funny, dime piece of a woman that I will never let go. She hasn’t got tired of me yet so I’ll keep on finding ways to keep her around. I love you @theeedarceylynn by @theequadzilla

Utah @totalarcherychallenge was once again, a good time. Got a little wet day 1 but it kind of improved our shooting so honestly not a big deal. Day 2 we had the whole gang and killed a bunch of foam elks. Good times in the mountains are always worth the trip. I feel so rich. I love my little family. These babies bring me so much joy. I got sent on a fire assignment and was gone for two weeks. It was nice to come home and get to spend some time in the mountains and on the water. It was good to go out and make money but life is much better when I’m with my people. by @theequadzilla

When someone tells me they listen to EVERYTHING I’m usually pretty skeptical. This was just a typical day on my way to the gym and to get a haircut.

Not quite the outcome we wanted but overall we had improvements pretty much across the board. That was a hot S.O.B. Neither of us felt very good the whole race. Couldn’t really get in a groove, and in order for me to take more work we had to adjust our plan on the fly. The stations felt pretty good for the most part (Regardless what our face says on the row 😂😂).
We made the biggest mistake you can make and missed a lap on one of our runs. I had no idea til after the race. That added an extra 7min penalty to our time which was a HUGE bummer. We worked hard, did the thing, and made ourselves better. On to the next thing.

Fun trip with just the two of us. New York is a big and wild place. Not somewhere I’d want to go often, but glad I got to experience it. Definitely some iconic places and sights. We tried to see all that we could. Lady Liberty was really cool for me. Grand Central is cool, broadway Harry Potter, the high line trail, BIG buildings, all an experience worth having. Going for a run through Central Park is a memory I will hold onto forever. Subways were fun to figure out. Logged tons of walking miles. All around good trip. Thanks @theeedarceylynn for being just as sporadic and all over as me. We make a good team. by @theequadzilla
