Biggest win lately? Intentional fatherhood.

One of the coolest parts of being a dad is getting to shape what a superhero looks like to your kids. How you love, how you handle pressure, how you get back up after failure. It all helps shape how they see the world and who they believe they can become.

That puts weight behind the way I live. My mindset matters. My consistency matters. The promises I keep and the time I give matter.

I want my kids to see a dad who keeps growing. Who does hard things, stays dedicated, admits when he’s wrong, and shows up with tenderness and strength.

Living all in starts with the people who call me Dad.

What a tremendous duty. What a phenomenal gift.

I’m Matt. I’m 31.

For a long time, I think people have known the loudest parts of me best.

The energy. The jokes. The guy who’s always ready to have fun.

That’s me. But it’s not all of me.

I love movies, deep thought, and artistic vision. I love music as an art, not just something to have on in the background. I love a good book, a lecture that makes me think, and time alone to sit with my thoughts.

I love conversations about the Bible. I love showing people who Jesus is and talking about what it means to follow Him.

And I love being a loyal friend, a husband, and a father. Those are some of the greatest joys of my life.

No one was trying to hold me back. But over time, spoken and unspoken expectations shaped what it felt like I was supposed to be. I got comfortable showing the parts of myself people already knew and keeping the rest a little quieter.

I don’t want to do that anymore.

I want to be fully myself. I want to grow into a Matt that Matt is proud of.
