Every league has different import rules, which changes who takes the field in international competition 🏈 🌍

We break down Finland’s import rules, and why it matters. We also share who we hope to see in the CEFL in 2027:
• The return of an Austrian league representative @afl_austrianfootballleague
• more @germanfootballleague teams
• more @italianfootballleague teams
• at least 1 representative from every big league

How would import rules impact a teams DNA if they went from domestic to international play?
Who has the best advantage? Let us know below 👇

FULL EPISODE drops tomorrow 10am EST

The @italianfootballleague is bringing every team to Milan for one opening weekend. Players meet future rivals, fans get a full weekend of football, and the fellas here at EA have ideas to make it the best it possibly can be: ideas for tailgating, team-themed bars, and team merch throughout Milan.

The three things @alldaymaxgray is trying to bring to Swiss Football:

1. A chance to win a championship - He frames winning as the ultimate goal built through better preparation, coaching, and a committed group rather than just chasing results.

2. Real player development - He means structured improvement: progressive strength and conditioning work, sprint training, tracking whether players are actually getting faster, and coaching that improves both position-specific skills and athleticism.

3. A strong group of teammates - He wants an environment with people who work hard together, support one another, and are committed to getting better.

Max Gray said the part nobody wants to say out loud: winning is cool, but the real goal is building a place people want to come back to.

@ a team you played for that felt like family

He went from college transfer to getting a random call from Switzerland, then turned that into 6 seasons with @calanda_broncos and now a full-time role living in Switzerland with @wintiwarriors .

A lot of imports best experiences happen when they invest in those local guys and start trying to serve the room…players, coaches, flag, tackle, youth, all of it.

That’s the difference between a roster and a culture.
If you’re building anything: a team, a program, a business.. this episode is for you

@alldaymaxgray gets into everything he’s doing for the Warriors, and lays the Blueprint for what all teams in Europe should be doing if they seek longevity and success - definitely don’t want to miss this one

What’s the best team culture you’ve ever been part of?

This GFL Bowl feels like one of those games were the little things are going to decide everything:

• Who wins on 3rd and 4th down?
• Who makes the big special teams play?
• Who makes the correct halftime adjustments?

Both of these teams have the depth, the run game, the playoff pedigree, and the star power.

Will Potsdam 3-peat? Or will the Monarchs take the GFL crown?

They could all come down to one kick, one turnover, or one player nobody still coming - we’re calling it now: an instant classic.

In this episode we talk key players, predictions, and everything you need to know in preparation for tomorrow’s championship matchup. 🇩🇪 🏆

Which side are you on?

Everyone (meaning mostly us here at EA) talks about Americans going overseas. But a really good story? Europeans making their mark in the USA.
My incline went from @cologne.crocodiles to Michigan to a second round NFL pick (Texans). Bernhard Raimann went from the @viennavikings to being a $100 million Left Tackle. Duncan Brune (@cologne.crocodiles) grinding in the MAC.
That’s not a sidenote. That’s a real pipeline.

Know another player making the jump? Drop their name below - we want to keep the list growing

A CHANGE OF PACE

If you guys have been paying attention to last week’s video releases, we have moved away from long form videos and are moving to shorter, narrower topic videos with hopes to maybe corral the yappers we are in this space

We most certainly will still be interviewing and telling the stories of imports, those will be our longer hour long videos - and we will often have imports and other knowledgeable individuals that can share insight on specific topics when they present themselves

This is to make the important information we’re sharing easier to consume and more directed rather than scatter brained dingdongs just yapping about whatever comes across our brains (even though that will most certainly continue to happen)

We’ve been getting really positive feedback since the beginning, and especially after the last four or five videos we’ve put out. Appreciate the hell out of each and every one of you for your support and helping us help grow the game we all love so much. We’re still less than a year into this and we’ve learned tons, we can’t wait to continue on that track

New videos are released so go and check those out!

Links are in our stories and in our bios - enjoy those on your Friday 🤌🏼

Tons of movement and news coming out of the AFLE & EFA this offseason already, with plenty more to come.

Both teams have already announced and will likely continue announcing expansions, updated rules, additional sponsors, and much more throughout the offseason and with both leagues having to do all of these things - there’s going to be a ton to talk about

Gabe gives his take on the 2 leagues, blatantly saying there needs to be only 1. Which isn’t a hot take, but what might be is combining that statement with, “but I love more teams as it means more opportunities for roster spots”

Check out our new episode for everything that’s happened and rumored to happen!

Should these 2 leagues combine? Is it only a matter of time?

Some of these guys out here don’t think about how good they have it.

Got some energy on this one, @sheffsc00kin opens it up saying imports really just need to wake up and smell the roses when it comes to playing ball overseas.

Most Americans never even leave the country, let alone get paid to live and play ball in another one.

People get mad at what we say and may not agree, but these are the real conversations we will continue to have
