When a hermit crab is too big for its box home you make it into a free standing sculpture. This is the hermit crab I showed a while back in it’s finished form. The base is made of American black walnut with tire retreads and additional black marble and copper counterbalance/ sculpture. The piece is 40x13x18 inches. by @thefinestmaster
