The release of these mugs was supposed to happen a while ago, but the last few months have been exceptionally busy for me. Working on several projects at once pulled things back a bit, but as the saying goes - better late than never.

This time, the mugs feature my original illustration of three classic salmon flies. No AI generation here - just hours spent over paper, tweaking every single detail.

Quality-wise, it’s the exact same solid standard as the first version. The mugs are 100% handmade in Poland from classic enamel that will easily handle the outdoors. They hold a generous 500 ml, making them the ideal size for a proper hot coffee or tea. As usual, this is a limited drop, so quantities are strictly limited!

If you’d like to grab one for your upcoming trips, let me know in the comments or send me a DM. Worldwide shipping 🎣

At the turn of November and December, I spent a few days on a large river in the heart of Europe, searching for the queen — the huchen.

Frosty mornings, icy water, and long hours by the river. One solid fish finally came within reach, but slipped off right at the net.

With temperatures like these, common sense matters. Don’t let yourselves be fooled by “winter heroics” and photos of fish held in severe frost.

I prefer to spend this time reading, planning this year’s trips, and restocking my fly boxes with new patterns.

Respect for the river and the fish comes first.

How do you spend your cold January days?
---

Na przełomie listopada i grudnia spędziłem kilka dni nad Dunajcem w poszukiwaniu królowej.

Mroźne poranki, zimna woda i długie godziny nad rzeką.

The magazine @flyculturemagazine probably needs no introduction. It’s a British title, highly respected in the fly fishing world for its authentic character.

I’m thrilled to have been able to showcase my illustrations in its autumn issue! This is truly special for me because Fly Culture is absolutely unique in the world of fly fishing. You won’t find pushy ads there, but you will find plenty of emotion, photography, art, and real stories from the water. The magazine is raw, minimalist, and focused on passion and aesthetics - just like my illustrations.

Thank you, @pete_tyjas , for this recognition.
I warmly invite you to check out the full issue! 🎣❤️

Serdecznie zapraszam do lektury całości! 🎣❤️

We spent the weekend by the Polish seaside, in Gdańsk, at @baitfight_fishfest 🎣
Alongside my illustration exhibition, people could also get a tattoo from me! 🖋️There were countless conversations — with old friends I hadn’t seen in a while and with many new, inspiring people.
Great talks, amazing exhibitors, and tons of attractions made the time fly by.
The atmosphere? Simply top-notch! 🔥
We’ll definitely be back! 💪🌊

Świetne wykłady, wyjątkowi wystawcy i masa atrakcji sprawiły, że czas minął błyskawicznie.
Atmosfera? Po prostu top! 🔥
Na pewno wrócimy! 💪🌊

Trio. Three illustrations. Three stages of the mayfly’s life: nymph, emerging form, adult.
Ephemerality and transformation captured in detail.

Each print is hand-signed and numbered.

For those who see more than just a fly.
