In February 2025, I walked into a founders meetup full of blue polos for the last time. I got tired of feeling like I had to choose between dimming my light to fit in or shining bright and being misunderstood. I decided there’s got to be a better, more FUN way for female founders to build a supportive, like minded community. And so The Fun Side Club was born – An in-person mastermind for business owners in Charlotte to connect deeply, talk growth and goals, and FUN-IFY entrepreneurship. Because the second you stop asking “What would a successful entrepreneur do?” and start asking “What would happen if I did it MY way?” … new possibilities open up. Maybe YOUR WAY is to stop forcing yourself to make talking-head educational Reels — because your brain comes alive when you’re telling stories, making people laugh, or doing something nobody in your industry would think to try. Maybe the “weird” idea you’ve been sitting on becomes the thing people recognize your brand for. Or, maybe your unfiltered personality becomes your biggest marketing advantage. Your unconventional approach becomes the reason clients choose you. And the thing you’ve been told makes you “too much” becomes the exact reason people can’t stop talking about you. Imagine building a business where you don’t have to keep editing yourself to fit the blueprint. Where your quirks aren’t the things you work around, they’re the things you work with. Where you stop trying to be the next version of somebody else and start becoming so unmistakably YOU that nobody else could compete by being you. THAT’S the point. We’re not interested in helping you build another copy-and-paste business. We’re interested in what happens when you stop playing by everybody else’s rules long enough to discover what only you can bring to the table.
