I’ve been quiet for a minute on this account… intentionally. Took time off to celebrate my birthday and as a team we’ve been focused on a big project - rebuilding The Great Audiobook Adventure into its next iteration.

Something new is coming. ✨

What do you want to know about narration, auditions or building this multi-hyphenate career?

Drop it below. Might be my next video. 💖

Jeanine came in juggling four creative lanes — acting, singing, narration, commercial VO — and doing all of it without the traction she knew she was capable of.

At the retreat, she learned to take her big goals and break them into pieces she could actually run with. Since then? She’s narrated 2 audiobooks with Tantor, a third narration project with another publisher, and started freelancing in commercial VO with an agent in NYC.

Still juggling four lanes. Just no longer scattered across them.

How might more clarity and deep support help shift things in your multi-hyphenate career?

You never know what to expect walking into a retreat for the first time. Shelley didn’t either.

What she found at the Dream Big Plan Smart Retreat? A space to receive specific coaching, feedback, structure and systems so that she could grow in both her acting career and coaching business.

If you’re on the fence about whether to trust the process, here’s Shelley’s answer: “Do it. My guess is that you won’t only like it. You’ll love it!”

Norma didn’t know what to expect, but she showed up at the Dream Big, Plan Smart Retreat anyway. For the VIP track. ✨

Her biggest discovery?

“I have a lot of talent that I’m holding back in myself.” The retreat pulled it out of her and pushed her forward exactly when she wanted to shy away.

Norma will be back this year, and her advice if you’re still deciding? “Go for it. This will encourage you, get you going, motivate you. You’ll feel more confident.”

Rachel Marie had an overbooked calendar and said yes to everything — which meant zero time for the work that actually mattered to them.

What they found at the Dream Big, Plan Smart Retreat: the difference between a boundary and a limiting belief. They’ve since raised their rates, only take aligned clients, and they’re finally making progress on a new album and narration work. 🎶🎤📚

Her words when asked if she’d recommend it: “What a silly question. Yes, do it.”

Whenever I surround myself with other creatives - performers, thinkers, artists, healers - going after big things, those are the moments where I grow. And only then do the things I’ve been desiring (and even taking action on) seem to magically come my way.

But it’s NOT magic.

It’s taking stock in where you’ve been and where you want to go.

It’s learning where you’ve been personally holding yourself back, and getting vulnerable enough to explore those areas.

It’s taking your desires serious enough to make a plan, set up accountability, and lean into community for support.

This is what we’re getting up to October 6-8th at the Dream Big, Plan Smart Retreat in Providence, RI and there’s space for you.

Comment RETREAT if you’d like to learn more.

“If you can do anything else, don’t be an actor” is total BS. 🚫

Having other interests doesn’t make you less of an actor — it makes you human.

🎧 New episode with the brilliant Ajarae Coleman is live now — link in bio.

Plus, she’s teaching a free live class, 21 Days to Wanted, on Thursday, August 13 (10am PT / 1pm ET) — how actors become wanted, remembered, and offered work. Save your spot — link in bio! 🙌
