POSTS STORIES REELS

If I was to name this series it would be tilted ‘from research to impact’.

sharing stories of how a final year project work has the potential to solve our one of our society’s problem and also contribute to the body of knowledge all aimed at giving little children a better and healthier start at life.

A global goal the UN is working hard to achieve using the SDG 2 (zero hunger) initiative.

Every child deserves to be seen, celebrated and fed.

This Children’s Day, we are reminded that joy, laughter, and growth begin with full bellies and proper nutrition.

At Malnutrition No More, our mission is clear, to feed hope, fight hunger, and ensure no child is left behind due to malnutrition.

You can be part of this change.

One child. One meal. One future at a time.

Crossing borders to serve humanity would have been the perfect title for this post but I didn’t leave Nigeria to serve these people.

I just had to explore another means of transportation(ferry) because that was the only way to get across to them.

They are Nigerians whose source of livelihood is fishing.

They are Nigerians living in their own ecosystem faced with challenges an average Nigerian would see or experience and be like so people live like this (IYKYK).

They are Nigerians the lagos food bank in partnership with the elevation church empowered with a family farming program to better their finances or lack of it.

They are new family farmers who were being monitored and evaluated so see if the empowerment was a success or a failure.

A humanitarian project that is not monitored or properly evaluated can mismanage resources, face problems along the way and eventually fail to achieve it goal.

Hence this M&E exercise and I’m super glad I was available to do this because it’s one thing to learn in theory,it’s another to apply it in real life with real people.

Thank you @lagosfoodbank @philanthropyuniversity by @theglobalore

Nigeria may not be at war right now but it definitely waging war against her citizen.

To think I made this video a week ago to encourage people to help feed hungry Nigerian children not knowing food, shelter and education is the least of our problem but security infact tops it all.

These children just wanted to learn and have a chance at a normal childhood and right now they are being deprived of it.

Please donate if you can and let’s not advocating for our children to be brought back to us safe and sound.

Happy children day ?

Proceeds to explain to her because I honestly get why she asked.

Because I wasn’t just studying for a job, I was studying to become ready for opportunities, for impact, for the kind of work I say I care about.

Over the past few months I’ve come to realize that passion alone isn’t enough to create lasting change in the society we live in today.

Because knowledge matters,It helps you understand the root cause of the problem, design sustainable solutions and then pivot when things don’t go as planned.

And when things get hard (because they will),that’s when passion reminds you of your WHY and keeps you going.

As a child nutrition advocate, my goal is simple; to see children in Nigeria and across the globe have a healthy start at life regardless of their background or social status.

But through learning and research, I’ve realized that malnutrition isn’t just about food. It’s deeply connected to poverty, teenage pregnancy, agrifood systems, food handling practices and the policies that shape what we eat.

Which means solving it requires more than good intentions.

Because if we truly want to reduce childhood malnutrition, we need more than awareness, we need informed action, collaboration and better systems.

So tell me who do you think holds the most power to drive this change? by @theglobalore

Thinking about it…..

My academic was the only aspect of my life I did a proper check and balance for last year 2025 and if I’m to be honest other aspects of my life suffered for it.

I’m talking giving up on other goals half way through the year or even forgetting about the goals entirely😩.

So this year I’ve decided to consistently execute actions that brings me closer to my goals while tracking it daily, weekly and even monthly.

I’m yet to hack the goal setting thing but I think I found what works for me for now 😊 and I hope you do the same too.
