Hi everyone, Its your friendly neighborhood weim, Cloud here! Im officially sharing my page with big (and handsome) brother Taco. We are @thegoaweims from now on!

It’s International Dog Day today. I want to honour all dogs, and promote shelter adoptions instead of shopping.

Just my take on things. Dogs are descendants of wolves, and we domesticated them and formed a mutually beneficial relationship with them. They protect, we provide. Centuries down the line even if all of us dont need their protection, and all of us dont want to provide, the least we can do is not harm them. They are the most unconditionally loving animals on this planet. I was fortunate enough to be able to rescue my dogs @thegoaweims , and they have in return rescued me when i was in my darkest place in life. I have learnt what truly unconditional love looks like from my dogs. I am so so grateful for them being in my life. I can confidently say that i would be a much lesser person if not for them in my life. I learn from them everyday. They keep me grounded, they keep me sane, they keep me whole. I wish i could adopt more dogs but being a single dog parent, i am at capacity.

Im so grateful for organisations like @pawsitiveprotectors for helping out the less fortunate animals, and looking out for them. They have regular vaccination drives and they look out for strays.
