I think about this often - and over time have felt guilty that I don’t show up the same for everyone. But, it’s not because I’m inconsistent or because I view anyone as “less than.” The reality is: not everyone deserves or has earned my energy, patience or access.
Not everyone fits my vibe & I don’t always fit theirs. I am a very kind person, and can talk to almost anyone, but if our energies don’t mix well, I’m 1000% ok acting on that to save us the time, and no one has to feel bad or offended about that! 😅
Some people will bring out the softness in you, some the silence. Some show you when it’s time to leave.

I just pray my kids are kept safe, physically and emotionally. I pray they’re learning their worth, and that it doesn’t need to be proven in order to deserve kindness, patience and respect- and not only with their peers, but teachers and staff alike. Of course, it is vice versa. I tell you WHAT, being a parent is HARD, but I’m proud as heck to be their Momma. 🫶🏼❤️ by @thegrayareamn

Instead of a first day of school post, I’m going back a few weeks & sharing when Jonathan and I hit up a Banana Ball game!
We’ve been watching them for years & this was a full circle moment for both of us. Especially when our faves KJ & @coach.rac appeared. 😎 However, we now added another fave - @ashby__vining 🙌🏼 We had the best freaking time. The vibes were the highest of highs! We danced, laughed, saw a never been done before - iron lotus catch by @coach.rac 🤯 AND a rare ending to a great game! (Pitcher vs hitter only!) @dan_hoz34 pulled off a great win! Go @thesavbananas - we love you! 🍌⚾️ Can’t wait to see another one! by @thegrayareamn

Said heck yes to a quick adventure with my kids. First motorhome trip in the books & it was phenomenal! When I was a kid our family visited Long Lake a ton! It’d been 20 years since I last visited & it was so good to go back. Love how some things don’t change! Got to see my cousins, aunts, uncles, sister, nephews & my kids got to play with their second cousins. So worth the time & energy & white knuckling that motorhome steering wheel. 🩷🩷

Pulled on to my favorite street in the BLA on Thursday and didn’t leave until Sunday! Moved in to Allie & Jason’s for our annual Lakes Jam triathlon. 🫠😬 So awesome having Allie’s brother home from Texas to join us like old times- him and Jason are like brothers to me. 🥹

We danced, drank, sang, golfed, ate late night pizza, barely slept, had Jason save our lives with breakfast each morning, laughed about the night before and then hit REPEAT. It was a lot on these old bodies, but damn it was fun!
