I recently had the pleasure of sitting in the chair of my friend Kerrin Jackson for a fun alien makeup. Kerrin is a 4x Emmy-nom artist whose work can be seen in such films/TV as The Odyssey, MaXXXine, The Hobbit, Our Flag Means Death, Ratched, Westworld, and The Walking Dead. I first sat for her when she created the Mr. Stitches makeup on me for the film Nightmare Cinema. Not only is Kerrin an outstanding artist but also an educator in the field of makeup and effects. I strongly suggest you check out her page @themakeuprefinery where she gives tips to improve your techniques and you can also score a free starter kit to help you apply your makeups with more confidence. Cheers! by @thehalloweendirk

Happy birthday to my sweet, wonderful, and beautiful friend Jessica Dent. She was a light in any dark room and I miss her. It’s been awhile since she passed but grief doesn’t really go away as much as it becomes a part of your story. I hope she found the serenity that eluded her in life. Much love to her family. by @thehalloweendirk

It’s a fun time in Long Beach this Sunday Aug. 16th at the horror themed 4Th Horseman pizza/beer & wine bar with a tap take over by North Coast brewery (makers of Rasputin imperial stout) and live entertainment by BadAcidTrip & Skanks with Knives! It’s 21+, it’s free, there’s rare beers, give aways, and it’s where you should be at 3. by @thehalloweendirk

After a cracking gig in Leipzig at the Zoro co-op last night we’ve arrived at our final destination of our mini tour in Europe at the wunderbar in Weimar. Looking to be another night of grindcore merriment with the good people of the German grind scene. Giving much love & fighting the hate. by @thehalloweendirk

A couple of old photos of a shop bike I put together so people could make runs to the liquor store at break time in style. I ran some self skinning foam and sealed it with fiberglass resin, sanded it and painted it gold. The Monster Efx Express. by @thehalloweendirk
