Thank you to everyone who came to see me fight Saturday night for TFL5. It was not the performance I wanted to give, but challenge is required to grow and an opportunity to rise up. Thank you to my coach and team at @thehammerforge for believing me in this journey, building me up, having my back, and training with me (even in a weird simultaneous surgery recovery + fight camp combo)

There are some health considerations I need to address, but will not cover on this post as I do not want to take away from the fact that I gained experience and feedback, and there is much to learn and grow in terms of skill development. Congratulations to Nyla, you showcased your skill and won by unanimous decision. Thank you @traumafightleague for putting on this event and making this matchup happen 💪

PART 2: Newbreed Coral Springs Championship

Footage from matches 4-7. Learned some valuable things in these later matches (like how when glycogen gets depleted it feels like you completely hit the wall 😅).

It caught up to me by my last match, which ended up being my only loss (via points) of the day. For a minute I genuinely thought we would all have to go again in the round robin since all 3 people of that bracket won one and lost one 💀. I soon realized that I still earned gold since I won my other match (6th match) by submission.

Watching the last match footage, I realize there was plenty of technique right in front of me that I wasn’t using, but I gave it all that I had in that moment while my body was trying to give up on me 😂

Walked away from this tournament with 3 golds (each from different weight classes), 6 wins, 5 by submission 💪

Thank you @thehammerforge for all the training and believing in me against the odds 👊👊
