میرے کھوئے ہوئے الفاظ، میری خاموش آواز،
میرا ڈوبا ہوا سا دل، میرا سن سا دماغ،
میں سوچوں، کیونکر ؟ کیونکر میں ڈوب رہی ہوں؟
کیونکر میں 'میں' نہیں ہوں؟
کیونکر میرے خواب، مجھ سے روٹھ گئے ہیں؟
کیونکر میرے جذبات بےقابو ہو رہے ہیں؟
کیوں مجھے میری ہر سوچ ستا رہی ہے؟
کیوں طبیعت میں بے قراری آ رہی ہے؟
میں ہر سوال کا جواب ڈھونڈ رہی ہوں
میں گویا ایک دائرے میں جی رہی ہوں۔
میرے دل میں یہ جو کھٹک ہو رہی ہے
گویا راستہ یہ روح بھٹک گئی ہے۔۔
میرے نا پید سجدے مجھے جھانک رہے ہیں،
میری اجڑی سی دعاؤں کو تاک رہے ہیں۔
پوچھ رہے ہیں ان سوالوں کے جواب کیا ڈھونڈتی ہو؟
کیوں خود کو رضائے الٰہی میں نا گوندھتی ہو؟
کیوں بے ضر خیالوں کی پیروی میں چل پڑی ہو؟
کیوں پیر پر کُلہاڑی مارے کھڑی ہو؟
کب تک ان تیز گام سجدوں کے سہارے چلو گی؟
کب اپنی آنکھیں کھولو گی، کب تم تھمو گی؟
تم اپنے انجان غموں کے جواب ڈھونڈتی ہو،
ادھر دیکھو تم تو ربِ کائنات کی بندی ہو۔
جو نورُُ علیٰ نور ہے، وہ اندھیرے دور کر دے گا،
جو مالکِ کُل کائنات ہے ،غموں کو دور کر دے گا۔
جو قلب میں تیرے رہتا ہے، دل کو سکوں کا گھر کردے گا۔
جو شہ رگ سے بھی قریب ہے، تمہاری ہر آہ کو سن لے گا۔
تم پلٹ کے اس کو دیکھو تو، وہ تم کو نور سے بھر دے گا!
جو سمیع البصیر ہو، وہ تو جانے سب کچھ ہے،
جو تمہارا رکھوالا ہے، وہ تمہارا غمخوار سچ مچ ہے۔
تو پلٹ کر اس تک واپس آؤ، کوئی رنج نہیں ہ پھر زمانے میں،
تم تھام لو ہاتھ اس کا، کوئی کمی نہیں اس کے خزانے میں۔

In the longest time,
On the farest route,
I have been wanting to say this phrase,
To me,
Desperately.
After the hardest of days,
During the painful nights,
When the sun is not so bright,
And the stars are a little dull,
And the day doesn't seem to end,
And the bones continue to crash,
And the eyes keep up with tears,
And there's a hole in my heart,
Filled up with grains of tiny failures,
I look In the mirror to find the face,
I wish I knew how I looked like,
I could have,
Known.
Only if I often said to me.
"I am my love".
But the reality is just a twist.
Of me, me cursing my very self,
For not being on point even when I couldn't.
For being lazy when I was sick.
For being imperfect when it did not matter.
For not being enough even when I was.
I wish I knew, I was the one,
The one with
Glitter
In her eyes
On the roughest days,
A smile,
On my face.
Just if I knew me more,
Just if, to myself I'd say,
"I am my love".

کیا بات ہے کہ گُل و بلبل اداس ہیں سارے،
نواِ پت جھڑ سے اس قدر مرعوب ہیں سارے،
پیغامِ محبت ہر پل گنگنانے والے،
کیوں آخر غم سے ہوئے موسوم ہیں سارے؟
گویا دردِ زیست ان کی روح کو چیر رہا ہو!
اس طرح کیوں یہ رنج و الم میں مدفون ہیں سارے۔۔
صبا بدلی ہے، رُت بدلی ہے، بدل گیا ہے موسم،
اس طرح بس حالِ دل سے بے حال ہیں سارے۔۔
خزاں کے خشک جکڑوں سے وحشت ہی مجھے!
مگر سرد گلابی شاموں کے پیامبر ہیں سارے۔۔
تاریخ آج نومبر کے مہینے کی ہے تیسری،
اور خزاں کے دن اب اختتام پذیر ہیں سارے۔۔
اداسیوں کو کیسے شاداب رکھتے ہیں موسم،
سردیوں میں روئیں عاشق،بہاروں میں گنگنائیں سارے۔
بدل لیتا ہے رنگ آسماں، زمیں موسموں سے رنگ بدلے،
طبیعت سے منسوب سہی،خوش رنگ ہیں موسم سارے!

Love (II)
Love, is the silence I share with you, something I did not knew.
Love, is an unexpected hug, when I stare in the universe figuring out how it happened.
Love, is the tingling sensation in my stomach, when I hear your footsteps.
Love, is the scent you own, something kept so alive in me.
Love is your warm touch on my cold hands.
Love is now dressed up in striped shirts and denim pants.
Love is surreal and unexpected, and it cries with me on most nights.
Love wipes my tears, and guarantee me years of togetherness.
Love is found, when I'm 21.
Love is a smooth ride on a rocky hill.
Love, is being alive on the toughest of days, and smiling after shedding every tear.
Love, now, is not a teenage boy flaunting his one button open shirt, it is a man with courage carrying grace and warmth.
Love is a familiar feeling, something I've known for ages but never knew it, simultaneously.
Love now, is one piece of cake in the fridge so I'd say I don't like it.
Love now, is a soft glance, deep enough to reveal every state of mood in the moment.
Love now, doesn't sit still on my window sill. But, it shines through the apples of cheeks. It glows through the curve of my smile.
And it lives in me, with me.
Love, dear heart, is found, when I was least expecting it to come.
Love, is you.
Love, is me.
It's us.
It's within.

When you look at me as if you're staring into a whole universe, it leaves me startled by the light of love in your eyes.
For your eyes sometimes speak what I want you to state, but you always shy away from saying it in words.
When you hold me close, without the intention to let loose, and I struggle a bit to slip a little, so you hold me a little tighter instead, my heart pumps a little lot more of blood in that exact moment.
When you hold my hand and plant a kiss, I know that you treasure me with all your heart, yet when you say those three words, I rejoice like a madman.
You're sheer joy in a very painful world.
You're utter softness in the very harsh world.
You're pure sweetness in a very very bitter world.
You're one thing I undoubtedly joy every second I breathe, and you're most importantly something I can look all day at, talk all night to, hold closest to me and never let go of you.
You're that blissful day in a pile of sole sad ones.
I wish there were words, as exact as you fit in my life.
You're beyond the most perfect life story I could ever imagine for myself.
You're like the love of loves and the joy of joys and the mastereo of my heart.
Forever and always till eternity//

I get so tired some days, I loose myself into a crumbling universe.
It scares me, how this universe is like, because whenever I get back into it, it causes me pain, hurt, misery.
To the darkness that I have, inside the last ventricle of my heart, or maybe the alveoli of my left lung, or half the neuro cells my brain carries, or perhaps in every alternate heart beat... I fear that darkness when I let it consume me.
The holes in my soul, won't seive out light on such days, instead, they seive out the toughest and the dimmest of rays into my very self.
And I fear it, my love, for this place is like a dungeon. It tangles me up in a row of thoughts which Criss cross each other and tie knots to all the wrong ends.
The worries in my heart, rise, as if you sprinkle yeast in your pizza dough and it doubles in size.
There's a loss of hope, a mountain of tears, fears and echos from the past years.
Guilt of being me, guilt of not being me, guilt of loving and the guilt of not loving, all the contradictions and contrasts, exist together in the same moment.
I'm numbed to my very core, this universe that resides, somewhere a little farther then my eyes, pulls me in like the black hole.
So how do I find my milky way and my galaxy, how do I rejoin my constellations and reform all my dreams, because once in a while, I fall back into the hole,
And then, I'm no more whole.

Love.
Love was tall and dark, squeaky and cheeky when I was 11.
It was raw and new, shy and quiet when it grew.
Love was smart yet messy, rude and blunt when I was 13. It did hurt a little, and a lot when it grew.
Love was white shirt and grey pants, whirling the car's key in one hand, flipping each hair fabulous when I was 15.
Love was young and passionate, straight out of a fairytale, but unlike one, it didn't have a happy end.
Love was rich hopes, and sweet dreams, romantic songs, and hustling heart beats, when I was 16.
Love was turning sideways, when I caught a glimpse, and love made my heartbeat gush 1000 km in a single second.
Love was pain and quiet when I was 18.
As if the chaos of a vivid dream, settled for something it did not want.
Love was whispers in the prayers, and tears all night.
Love was fear, anxiety and stressful anorexia.
Love was ripping insomnia and love was harsh and rocky.
Love was steep.
But.
Love fell down, and love went quite.
Till my heart whispered, it no longer exists.
Till my prayers switched, from wanting love to just wanting peace.
Till my swollen eyes, went back to their shape.
Till the eye bags underneath, were only asking for peace.
Love, now sat on a window sill, far far away.
Beaming, like a tiny ray of light, I did no more seek.
Until my tender heart, with the showers of tears, and radiating light of positivity, grew flowers that bloomed peace.
And my heart whispered to me,
"Love exists, it still does. You seek it, you still do. You've just let time be the first aid to you."

Strong was a word, until I met you.
I saw what strong is when your shoulders carried the weight of the world with a smile.
I saw what strong is when your grieving eyes spoke a thousand tales, your tongue translated a million narratives of passion and you stood as if you were a thick lead wall, untouched by the tough stances.
I saw what strong is, when you opened your wings, but you opened your heart to everything you thought was never possible with you.
I saw what strong is, when I held your hands, and their warmth narrated how many stones you've turned to sand, because you've melted my heart, and you've captured my soul just with how your fingers feel. And how your voice spells S T R O N G, letter by letter, making the word so meaningful and deep.
For I don't know how many ships you've anchored, or how many sails you've turned, I just know one thing.
You've made so far in life, with a heart that's gold,
A soul that's young,
A passion that's bright,
And patience that's forever alive.

In your honey pools//
There's a ray of sunshine in my life, that uproots from the honey pools in your eyes.
There's a lot of light that streams down, like the golden brown, glittering honey,raw and sweet, which pours down the honey jar at the breakfast table.
Dripping right onto a fresh slice of bread, adding the right amount of sweet to it, you've added a lucious flavor to my empty ground and barren heart.
And I lose myself a little more every day,in your honey pools, where all my world exists, and all my electrons circulate.
In your honey eyes, where all the love shines, and all the strength builds, I get very weak for them, because your strong arms don't let me fall.
And in your honey pools, there lives a man, who wears a smile on bad days, smirking through the dark shadows. I grip onto his hand planting a little kiss, because after all,the strongest of men, need the warmest of hands to hold them every once in a while.
There's so much more, to talk about you, because you're not what the English dictionary can translate,
You're magic existing in human form,
And oh can you translate what abracadabra would mean?
You're supercalifragelisticexpialidocious.

I paint myself a picture,
With everyone I love.
Friends and friends of friends,
Family, and families of my family.
You, I, us, and everyone I love.
And I rub my eyes to see,
If I could find some glee,
In what I have been painting,
Us, you, me..
And a fine strand of hair,
From my eyelashes,
Drop on my palm,
So I touch each person in the picture,
And blow a wish on my hand,
"I wish, I wish, with all my heart,
Just if it would possible to take apart,
To pull out each drop of pain from each one of the people I dearly love,
To touch them with kindness and love,
To erase every tear their eyes may shed,
So when they go to bed,
They've a heart so happy and full of gratitude,
And every single latitude,
Marks hope and joy on the maps of their lives."

Love exists//
When you're hopelessly tired of your very being, when all the curtains have been pulled upon your existence, when there's no hole left for light to enter, I hope the glimmer to love still finds its way to you through the splits in the walls of your heart.
The very love that nurtures you and holds you, and listens to you from dusk to dawn.
The very love that clears up the pathways which lead you to yourself.
I hope you find this sort of love when you need it the most.
The kind of love that wraps you up in the warmth of its arms, and holds your hand when you tear apart from the burdens of the life.
When every hope denies to be born in your heart, raise your hands and look at the sky.
There's still a star shining,
There's still a little light,
There's still a chance for the sun to rise,
For the creator to send in the day.
Look at yourself, you can breathe. You can pray.
