POSTS STORIES REELS

The Atelier 🎙️
(my new podcast!)

This episode maps the 24-hour Chinese body clock through the particular lens of perimenopause - showing how hormonal transformation amplifies each organ system’s voice during its two-hour window of peak activity. What might feel like your body failing is actually your body using time itself to announce and navigate one of life’s most profound transitions.

In this episode (part one):

The quiet symptoms that appear first - the ones women mention apologetically, almost as afterthoughts, before recognizing they’re following precise patterns tied to organ meridian times

• Why 1-3am waking may not be insomnia but your Liver processing both hormones and identity, metabolizing decades of what’s been while sorting what’s becoming

• The 3-5am Lung window and that specific quality of sourceless grief - how perimenopause asks the body to practice release and exhalation in the predawn hours

• Large Intestine (5-7am) and the sudden digestive complications that mirror a deeper question: what patterns do we keep carrying, what do we finally eliminate?

• Stomach (7-9am) and its confused receptivity - when what once nourished now agitates, and the body asks to be fed differently

• The Spleen’s mid-morning struggle (9-11am) to transform food into energy, and experience into understanding; when brain fog and worry loops signal transformation fatigue rather than cognitive decline

• The Heart (11am-1pm) and emotional flooding - palpitations, sudden tears, the feeling of too much or too empty as every heartbeat circulates blood with a different hormonal story

Healing happens when:
• we become aware of what’s out of balance
• we sit in the hard feelings/spaces
• we do the work to shift us, not another person. And most importantly not to change how another person sees us.

When we look at healing the body for example, and you can identify signs and symptoms, there’s likely a pattern running beneath them.

A way of being your nervous system has gotten used to experiencing. When you can identify the pattern, you can change it.

Last updates for the day… I think 🤔

RESEARCH
Be a part of my research project. I recently applied for a research scholarship in human behavior and narcissism. This is a loaded conversation but one that should be happening way more. So many people’s lives are impacted negatively by relationships (of all kinds) that fall into this category. I’m writing a manuscript as the next phase of this scholarship and I would love to feature your genuine experiences.

Your information will be held confidentially; you will also be able to view your submission if it is used in the project. This might sound unrelated to healing but all aspects of life contribute to your healing!

HIGH LEVEL ADULTING
Even though I’m an undercover introvert, I have really been missing stimulating conversations around things that matter to me. If you love high level conversations, have outgrown friend groups or simply want a sacred space to grow personally and spiritually, I have a space for this!

I created The Society, and the group is set up on BFF (formerly the Geneva app). Come pull up a seat at the most elevated table around.

For those of you who don’t know me personally, the details matter to me. The energy matters. I barely talk to people as it is because of this 🤣🥴😅. If that sounds like you, let’s be friends.

The Society is not business related and it’s totally free. LINK IN BIO @cicelyeverson. ❤️

Eek! I’ll be offering custom skincare and custom blended herbal tinctures. And get this—they aren’t just called custom because you’re building it—they will be based on your primary/most dominant health pattern.

So if you are deeply depleted, your body and your skin get addressed properly to balance this pattern. If your metabolism is sluggish, your skin shows it too so we build a formula that solves it. And so on…

The link to start customizing is not live just yet (I got ahead of myself 😂) but will be soon. I’m working on it being available by tomorrow, and I’ll be back to let you know the moment it is.

🥂 here’s to your most beautifully regulated body (and skin) yet!

🙅🏽‍♀️Today is not the day to be outside if you’re in the Northeast U.S. The particulate matter (2.5 micrometers) is the most dangerous because it can enter the lungs and bloodstream, causing whole-body inflammation, blood vessel irritation and brain🧠 inflammation leading to cognitive decline.

The only masks I know of that can provide protection are:
K95
KF95
KN94
P100 respirator

Some herbs/supps that will help:
#magnesium
#vitaminc
#nacetylcysteine
#mullein
#elecampane

My Breathe lung tonic contains the power players to drain lung toxins and restore respiratory health. You can grab it at taoandsaloma.com/shop/p/breathe
