WK 05/06 / More details about this new body of work which is part of my research titled Becoming Post-Tropical. Becoming Post-Tropical is about cycles of destruction, reconstruction and dispersion using flowers as the primary material. Also, photos from the workshop part 2, monarch butterflies that won’t make it to their destination, and old school cinemas.

WK 02 / Deleted the many version of me talking to the camera, too many failed attempts but sharing a bunch of videos and pics. More experiments with pigments, bike rides, quick drawings, fruit smoothies, house visitors, and more importantly, a $2 blow dryer.

This Saturday we’re officially welcoming Juan Carlos Rodríguez Rivera to Door County! 🎉 A Detroit-based artist, designer, and educator whose work moves between print, installation, and sculpture—shaped by fragmentation, transformation, and the landscapes he inhabits.

Come meet him in person this Saturday at the Dome House. Free and open to the public. Details below. 👇

📅 Saturday, August 15 | 4–6 PM
📍 5015 S. Cave Point Dr.
🅿️ Attendees are asked to be mindful of neighbors by parking on the west side of the road, so as not to block driveways.
