I recorded this video 4 nights ago & sat on it. Why? Idk. Nothing about my journey embarrasses me, but vulnerability isn’t always the easiest. Few people talk about the $2 bank accounts. Nobody posts the downgrades. The nights crying & feeling lost go unmentioned. You’d never know any of this was happening (and baby this ain’t even HALF 😭)

IG being ONLY a “highlight reel” is a lie nobody agreed to, but most of us were pressured into. So … here you go. Trust yourself. Trust God. Let go of the outcome & allow abundance to flow to you. Even when you can’t see a way out.

Everyone is building on rented land, and then acting surprised when things stop working 🤐

Yes, post consistently, grow a following. But also understand that you don’t actually own ANYTHING ❌

If your page gets deleted tomorrow you have no way to reach your own people, directly. THATS the harsh truth that entrepreneurs don’t talk about enough 🤷🏽‍♀️. Social media is a tool, not a foundation!

I guarantee you’re sitting on money by not communicating with the people ALREADY IN YOUR ECOSYSTEM!

The folks who already asked about your products/services, joined your email list & purchased before. They just don’t matter? You would use em and drop em just like that!? 🤭

Your follow-up game is weak! Do better at staying connected to the people you already have and you’ll reach that next income level quicker than you think 😉💌

Email marketing does NOT need to be as complicated as y’all make it 😭

Here’s what I mean:

1. Gmail → an actual email platform
Gmail is for sending emails. Platforms like Klaviyo, & Kit are built for email marketing

2. Followers → followers AND subscribers
Keep growing on social. Please. 😂 But give some of those people a way to stay connected with you outside of Instagram too

3. DMing freebies → let Stan do the work
If you have a guide, checklist, template or any other free resource, you do not need to manually DM it to everybody. Put it behind an email opt-in, let them enter their email and have Stan deliver it automatically

4. One email → multiple emails
One email is very easy to miss and it’s inconsistent. Give people more than one opportunity to see you, understand your offers and take action

You don’t need to become an “email marketer.” You need to know how to make email an asset for your business 💌
