We had nearly 90 ladies in one room all being seen, recognized, and celebrated. We fellowshipped with one another, prayed for one another, uplifted each other, and some even got delivered.

This event was a success not due to one person, but because women from different ages and backgrounds came together on one accord to set some of their hats down, focus on the Me Hat, while being inspired, refueled, and poured into.

What a mighty God we serve 🙌🏾 A Woman of Many Hats Brunch was more than an event. It was an experience that reminded us to never forget the woman wearing the many hats. @_awomanofmanyhats by @thekandyrose

At the A Woman of Many Hats Brunch, Live from the Closet with Laci B. caught up with Dionne Tina Carey, a Woman of Impact Honoree, to talk about empowering women and girls to recognize, develop, and use their unique skills and gifts.

Dionne shares her organization’s powerful mantra: “We complete, we don’t compete.” The message is simple—your gifts don’t have to look like someone else’s. Instead of comparing yourself to others, focus on cultivating what makes you unique.

As a woman of many hats, we have to understand that balance does not mean perfection. Some things will fall by the wayside. We may forget our kid’s doctor’s appointment, miss their game, or even experience setbacks along the way.
