That’s a wrap on our 6th year of #PlaysForTheHolidays. You can keep this action alive all year-long by donating new or gently used plays by women, trans, and gender non-conforming playwrights. Help diversify the canon by introducing your favorite playwrights to readers and theatermakers at a free, school, or local library near you!

💜 🖤 💜 In my last official act as a member of the @thekilroys class 2.0, it gives me great pleasure to donate 4 (autographed) plays to a @littlefreelibrary in my neighborhood as part of #playsfortheholidays — an initiative that’s now 6 years old! 📚 If you have a play by a woman, trans, or nonbinary playwright that you’d like to put into circulation, there are so many schools, libraries, and little free libraries out there who’d love to grow and diversify their collections! Spread one more dollop of love before 2025 is through (you know, to offset its horrors). 💜 📚 🖤 by @thekilroys

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Conjure some good will and spread cheer far and wide this holiday season by donating new or gently used plays by women, trans, non-binary, or genderqueer playwrights to your local or school libraries. (We encourage the use of Free Little Libraries! Find your closest one here: https://littlefreelibrary.org/map/)

From now until January 1st, help us expand the theatrical canon and inspire the next generation of theatremakers. Take a pic, tag @TheKilroys, and use the hashtag #PlaysfortheHolidays to join in on the joy!📚❄️🧣🧤☃️📖 taken in Anywhere & Everywhere by @thekilroys

The Kilroys are an all volunteer group of artist-activists who want to make meaningful change in our industry. It’s a wild, fun, and meaningful whirlwind doing work behind the scenes to collect data to build out cheeky initiatives like Cake Drops, pandemic fireside chats with women ADs, the Kilroys List (and then morphing the List into an interactive Web of game-changing theatermakers)—but it ain’t free!

As our second class of Kilroys passes the baton to a new crew of badasses, we want to ensure that the next few years of Kilroys advocacy will be equally fruitful and gamechanging. Your contribution will go directly to helping fund new dreams and visionary initiatives that continue to fight for gender parity and champion work by women, trans, and nonbinary playwrights.

This #GivingTuesday please consider making a donation of any size to our cause. We thank you and appreciate you!

Yours in advocacy,
The Kilroys ✨💜✨ taken in Anywhere & Everywhere by @thekilroys
