Oh fall, you are so spectacular with your low sunlight. This is 4:55pm, just before we opened the doors to The Mill last Saturday. Amy Ellingson’s 8’ x 8’ stained glass window cast its brilliant colors as the crow flies. We don’t have an event this weekend, so it truly is the perfect time to come hang with us in all this glorious light! The Knock is our hidden gem, a speakeasy, featuring a casual menu of seasonally-inspired vegetarian dishes and specialty craft cocktails immersed in a world class art collection. Open Friday & Saturday at 5pm until everyone breezes the joint! Reservations recommended in this peak leaf peep at theknockadk.com by @theknock_adk

Our tapas-style Summer menu has been flying off the shelf: mezze platters, Mediterranean dips, inventive + fresh salads, falafel, blistered shishitos w smoked salt, Knock Blocks, Roman-style pizza, and oh so many arancini…!…everything made from scratch of course. Our Summer Knocktails are also on fire, along with our Weekly Classic, Weekly Shandy, and Weekly Spritz. The point here is that our menu is quite dynamic and changes frequently, mostly according to what’s available and in season locally…so come get it while you can!! Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 5pm until folks breeze the joint. XO

Knock Blocks have quickly become our signature snack. Made from @sugarhousecreamery Dutch Knuckle cheese (and a few other simple ingredients) they happen to be gluten free, and no one seems to believe that once they taste them…but it’s true! Just like everything else on our menu, these are made from scratch by Chef T with a lot of love. More than one earnest guest has emphatically declared “this is the best thing I’ve ever had!” …a wonderful hyperbole, which we humbly attribute to the cheese…and the love. ❤️

Come find us Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 5pm until folks breeze the joint. XO
