Last Friday at @thelabmiami , we brought together Kaz Nejatian (CEO, OpenDoor), Barrett Lyon (CEO, Doxx), and Clem Delangue (CEO, Hugging Face).
In the room: 50 Miami-based founders, all of them building and scaling companies across different stages, from series A through Series D.

No panels, just an intentionally curated conversations about building, making hard decisions and what it actually takes to lead ambitious companies.

Pumped to share some of our latest, most creative work for @superteamusa_.

They sponsored a hackathon organized by @trycursor, @okx_official, and @quicknodehq and gave away TEN THOUSAND dollars to the winning team.

The contestants went from idea to working concept in just 8 hours and @thelabmiami was absolutely packed.

Instead of a typical event recap (booooooring), we came up with a MrBeast-style game show that captured the nerves, laughs, and high stakes involved in the day’s events.

Last week, I decided to take a break from social media, just to unplug and reset.

During that time, I stumbled into something completely new: a Claude AI hackathon at The Lab in Wynwood @thelabmiami

I had no idea what to expect (never been to a hackathon before!), but I jumped in, joined a team with Keisha and Jameson, and together we created a product called "Grapple" in just four hours.

It’s designed to help students stimulate cognitive thinking, and guess what?

We ended up winning the event!

This experience reminded me of something important: when you give one thing a break, you create space for something else to shine.

So, here’s your reminder to step back, try something new, and see where it takes you. You never know what you might discover!
