I just can't help myself. Hoping at some point my kids will totally get it and adopt my love and intrigue for history... by @theladyoutnumbered

For YEARS, I've wanted to paint something in my house Tricorn Black. This was the time! Our outside doors matched at old time but a few years ago my father in law had a front door returned that he could give away for free. We accepted! Doors are expensive! by @theladyoutnumbered

Of all the gin joints in all the towns she walks into mine...
Name that movie...
That's the line I thought of when we found this one that was ironically named 'Gin Joint'. I could only remember 'of all the gin joints...'

Anyway, speakeasies are nice quiet places to have a date night. I highly recommend checking if your local city has one. Or if you are in Charleston, check out @gin_joint taken in Charleston, S.C. by @theladyoutnumbered

Which sunroom/garden room would you choose? Let me know in the comments...
Please and thank you 😊

This time of the year, I often think how nice it would be to have a room safe from the elements that I could still enjoy the outdoors.
I think I would truly love it.
I would enjoy my coffee and a book in the morning. Tea and curled up with a book while it's raining.

My favorite is D (too bad it's probably AI) with G a close second. by @theladyoutnumbered

I was leaving the house yesterday and realized my front porch was showing all signs of what season are we actually in? This is the time of year I don't rush! I love Summer!

Joe picks the best Airbnbs and boutique hotels for trips. This Airbnb just happened to fuel my dream home situation. Waterfront, dock, big front porch, horses (although they were the neighbor's. Airbnb over the garage chickens and garden. I didn't want to leave. by @theladyoutnumbered

The start of the school year hit me a bit hard.
Picture day for my oldest was a whole month early this year. Sub sales for soccer already. Parent night was the 7th day of school. If I've never forgot picture day up until this point, I think I'm winning 😂

Have you ever forgot picture day? Let me know in the comments... by @theladyoutnumbered

These all mean something or fit my home's function. I have been thrifting and antiquing too long to learn that some things while an awesome find, may not make sense in my home. I've come to realize I can't keep all antiques I come across. It may look really cool in someone else's home but it has to function and make sense in our home.

Here's how these 12 function I'd have meaning in our home.

Vintage Dish- my husband grew up with his grandmother having a candy dish full of Canada mints and he likes glass items so I bought this for him.

Coasters- I wanted classier glass/crystal coasters and I found these as a set.

Crock- I wanted a big crock because I like the coloring and they can be used for different things. I did use this to obscure a planter.

Ramekins- I love ramekins and custard dishes. Use them for eating a small snack out of. I even use them to keep my ice cream portions down. They are also great for melting butter in the oven for a recipe because I don’t like putting it in the microwave to melt.

The Greatest Moments- I remember seeing this in a family friend’s powder room and loved it. I thought it would go great in my Edwardian style bathroom.

Tin- I use this to store our marshmallows for smores and campfire colors packets.

Sugar bowl- I use this to either keep sugar or keep my stevia packets next to the coffee maker.

Avon cookie jar- I love home things (since we are Realtors) and I use this to hide treats from my boys 🤭

Gibson bowl- I found this in Florida for a steal.

brick mold- my grandfather was a brick mason and my name is Tara 💁🏼‍♀️

Vintage tray- just makes your dresser items classier

What antiques or things that you've thrifted, just make sense in your home? by @theladyoutnumbered

I did this on a whim. Right or wrong, I do not care. Half of my 9 years of gardening has been trial and error. And I have you know. Zinnia came up after doing this!

I said it once, I'm going to say it again...each year I hate to see summer go. Don't get me wrong I like fall just fine. However, I was born September 20th. That is technically in summer. Until my birthday comes and goes, I'm not willing to surrender my hold on summer. Because, you know what happens after that? Winter 🥶 by @theladyoutnumbered

Every Sunday, I try to have a baked good/treat on the table or stove top in this beautiful cake stand. Why wait for an occasion when I have a cake? I use this almost every week. It was a great marketplace find! by @theladyoutnumbered
