Our Lakes golf pros participated in the SCPGA Pro-Assistant Golf Tournament at La Quinta Resort’s Mountain and Dunes courses! Reed Wolff and Geri Reinardy traveled from Minnesota to Rio Vista, California, to celebrate Warren Gomes’ 85th birthday! They joined 150 friends and family members for a wonderful celebration hosted by Julie and Warren. What a fabulous party and a memorable way to honor such a special milestone! by @thelakescc

Summer travels are even better when they include golf and great friends!
Fred and Lynne Hurst recently enjoyed an amazing trip to Calgary, where they connected with fellow Lakes friends, shared memorable rounds of golf and gathered for a wonderful dinner together.

Chef’s Weekly Features are here, available starting Wednesday, August 19 through Saturday, August 22.

For lunch, enjoy Smoked BBQ Pork Belly Skewers served over wild rice with pineapple salsa and gochujang BBQ sauce.

Wednesday dinner features Roasted Branzino filled with scallop mousse, served with French-style green beans and a toasted almond, lemon and brown butter sauce.

Friday dinner features Garlic Rosemary Lamb Chops with sweet pea purée, roasted butternut squash, baby carrots and mint demi-glace.

Eleven months ago I had many firsts at @thelakescc:

⛳️ 1st time playing at a private club
👕 1st time being told my shirt needed to be tucked in
🐥 1st BIRDIE ever

So it was such a treat to head back to join @fern_pga for his hole-in-one challenge (spoiler alert: I did not get a HIO). The course looked even better than I remembered. Gorgeous and fun. Plus, this time I only lost 3 balls instead of twelve.

Thanks again and look forward to going back again!
