Our second act for the Capers Céilidh volume 3 is The Lia Band!

The Lia Band first formed at a folk session in captains bar in Edinburgh. Members include Luke on guitar, Isla on voice and Ally on fiddle. The band performs a mixture of well known traditional, folk and indie songs alongside a few hidden gems they enjoy bringing to new audiences. The band attempts to keep a free and improvised nature to their style, often experimenting with arrangements and harmonies in the moment. They aim to capture the sensibility of a song in a way that plays to the strength of each member, intertwining traditional fiddle techniques with vocal harmony and melodic and rhythmic elements of the guitar.

The Céilidh is a week from today, so if you've not already got it in your diary, get it in there now! Drop a DM to the Capers Instagram page if you wanna get a ticket in advance :) See you in a week
