Two years ago, under the October full moon, I made a pilgrimage to Glastonbury to birth my Shamanic Drum with @herondrums.official some of you may remember the journey! Creating her in ceremony felt like something far deeper than simply making an instrument or another tool for my practise, it was a soul calling. She was born from Willow, Deer and Hematite, each chosen for the wisdom I wanted to weave.

Willow, belonging to the water’s edge, her roots drinking from dark earth and lapping waters. In the folklore of these lands she carries the mysteries of mourning, healing, protection and renewal; a tree of endings and beginnings, carrying the ancient wisdom of knowing when to bend without breaking.

Deer has long wandered the folklore of these lands as a creature of the wild and the Otherworld, moving between the known and the unseen. She carries the medicine of instinct and intuition, of moving softly through the darkness, trusting the body to lead.

And at her centre, Hematite. Dark earth. Deep root. Gravity.

Together, they create a potent keeper of thresholds, carrying us through the great mysteries of grief, death, transformation and rebirth; through the sacred spaces, where one life is falling away and another is but a breath away. She knows the dark intimately, calling us beneath the surface and into the unseen. And now, as we enter the darker months, we will follow her heartbeat down to wher the veil grows thin. She becomes a thread between worlds, leading us deeper into the mystery, through the labyrinth of the body, into the dark, into the remembering.

Darling one, you are warmly invited to gather for our upcoming Samhain Sound Bath being held at the enchanting @lets.retreat on Sunday 25th October at 6:30pm - 7:30pm.

Together, we will sink into a deeply immersive sound bath, allowing the resonance of crystal singing bowls to move through the body. As the sounds wash over us, the edges between breath, body, earth and sound begin to merge, carrying us into a liminal space where we can listen beyond the noise of the everyday and hear what the darkness has to say. A place beyond the veil, a place to soften, surrender and become quiet enough to hear the whispers beneath the surface.

You may bring with you the name of someone you wish to remember, something you are ready to release, or simply yourself as you are, with no intention beyond being held in the stillness for a while.

Darling one, the season of descent is calling, and you’re invited to gather, to honour the liminal, turn our attention inwards and sink into deep rest. Join us on Sunday 18th October at 6pm - 7pm @rockwaterhove in Hove.

Beneath candlelight, we will gather for a deeply immersive sound bath, allowing crystal singing bowls to carry us gently into stillness. As the sounds move through the body, the edges between breath, memory, sensation and dream begin to soften.

Together, we will honour what has been, surrender what is ready to fall away and spend a little time in the liminal, listening to the season, to the body, and to the quieter things that only become audible when the world grows still.

In a matter of weeks, Libra season meets the Autumn Equinox and at this turning of the wheel Libra Lounge turns one! A whole year of women crossing the threshold, each bringing their stories, their seasons and their intuitive knowing into this space.

To every woman who has found her way here, thank you for your trust, your laughter, your tears, your courage and your beautiful presence. You have each shaped this space just as much as I have. The work I offer here is so deeply reciprocal, because in holding space for you, something is held within me too. Time and time again I reminded of the profound depth and beauty in women gathering and caring for one another.

I feel so deeply humbled and grateful to be the keeper of this space, and to have shared its first turning of the wheel with you.
