An autumn evening and afternoon in Durham, and an excuse for me to have a play around with the new carousel feature on carousels.

We were invited to @thelightdurham’s first ever after dark event last Friday so we decided to make a couple of days of it.

After an evening at The Light we felt we needed to pop in and see @thestory.durham where I got a CUTE Tote bag. This building is gorgeous, and it has a lovely little cafe and exhibition area.

Then we were off to the Oriental Museum, which was just a short walk from The Story. This is a University museum with a small gift shop.

Did you know we can make fun carousels on the @instagram edits app now? 👀 I can’t wait to test it more and get a little more creative. taken in Durham, England by @thelightdurham

Sometimes you just need to sit and think... which was possible here at The Light with Tine Bech's immersive cloud installation, Dreaming with You.

Visitors were able to observe, sit and interact with the colourful cloud installation whilst hearing a soundtrack created from children's voices, dreams and questions about technology, AI and the future.

If you had the chance, how did you find this installation? We'd love to know.

Stay up to date with what's on at The Light by visiting the link in our bio.
