Ad - I’ve always wanted to try and install some tongue & groove panelling in one of the rooms in this house. I think it adds so much character and is really timeless (as well as covering up the terrible condition of our walls…!)

I used the Bristol Tongue & Groove MDF Half Wall Panelling Kit from @wallpanelsworld and @skirtingworld and it was so easy to install, you just need a few tools.

I cannot wait to show you the finished product once we’ve painted and wallpapered 🤩

The neighbours had been looking into our bathroom for OVER A YEAR when we finally got these stunning blinds from @twopagescurtains 😅 ad

I chose the Liz Linen Roman blind, which is motorised as there’s no better feeling than just pressing a remote control in the morning and watching everything open 🤩

It’s the best feeling not to have to attach a towel to the window using kitchen food clips whenever I have a bath!

Renovating for over 20 months now 🗓️ We’re slowly getting there, I feel like we did the majority of the house in the first year, then we lost motivation 😂 by @theloneshouse

We’ve finalised our colour scheme and wallpaper for the guest bedroom and I’m so excited about this project 🤩

We are going for half height panelling in blue (Lie-in by @coatpaints and The Good China on the ceiling) then we will wallpaper the rest in Connor from the Harlequin x Henry Holland Collection. I’ve had my eye on this wallpaper for years so decided to treat myself!

As it’s a really small room, I wanted to go bold, colourful and a bit crazy. Let me know your thoughts!

Had the best evening last night celebrating a decade of @dusk.com 🪩

Dusk is my go-to for really affordable yet chic homewear and their new collection is stunning!

Also met some of the nicest girls from other home accounts 🥰

Those of you who know me, know that I absolutely LOVE finding a bargain. There’s also no better feeling than giving something a new home or preserving a piece of history.

I will admit FB marketplace can be very hit or miss but if there’s an item I specifically need, I will literally just search on there every single day for months until I find the right one!

And when I say ✨unlimited✨, let’s not buy loads of cheap stuff that goes into landfill when a new trend comes along! Shop for pieces you really love or go wild in charity shops/second hand 🙌🏻 by @theloneshouse

Renovation upgrade creep is such a thing on social media. It suddenly makes you feel like none of your choices are good enough, even though you’ve spent your whole life savings on them 😅 Anyone feel the same? by @theloneshouse

Ad Sometimes you have to know the limit of your DIY skills and call in the professionals 😅

I’ve used @airtaskeruk for 2 tasks now and can honestly say it’s the easiest way to find tradespeople for small-medium jobs, would 100% recommend the app! by @theloneshouse
