You’ll never fully understand why I am the way I am unless you’ve lived what I’ve lived.

You didn’t see the years of questioning myself.
You didn’t see the things I had to normalize just to survive them.
You didn’t see how much of myself I had to rebuild.

So no, you probably won’t understand why certain things changed me. Why I have boundaries. Why I walked away. Why peace means more to me than keeping people comfortable.

And that’s okay.

Because I’m not here to convince anyone of what happened to me.

I know what I lived through.
I know what it took to get here.
And considering where I came from?

I’m doing pretty damn well.

Funny how something people call “cringe” can turn into paid opportunities, hosted experiences, and memories with my family that I get to share with the world. 🖤

Apparently celebrating spooky season is a one-way ticket to hell… 💀🎃😂

Well, I guess I better make the most of my time here by making memories with my kid, visiting pumpkin patches, dressing up, watching spooky movies, and enjoying ALL the Halloween events around the St. Louis area. 👻🖤🍂

There are so many fun things to do around STL this time of year, and I refuse to miss out on these traditions and core memories.

Not everything has to be for everyone, and that’s okay! You can choose not to celebrate something without shaming the people who do. 🤷🏻‍♀️
