‘Magic Garden’

A traveling popup that acts as a hearth, fostering deeper community engagement through gathering and conversation. Inspired by colorscapes of sky and sea in the mid-Atlantic region, Magic Garden gently fades between spectral splashes, pastel pinks, and bold blues.

Ed. 4 is especially near to our hearts, as the Ambient Garden is a space that so many, including us, have only dreamed about being in. This space is by and large closed to the public, so this truly was a rare treat for us to have this as a canvas!

SHOUT OUT to the other incredible artists who showed with us in the garden. Big thx to @illuminatephilly @thelowpass @eastpassyunk for having us! It was such an epic night and we can’t wait for the next one

So awesome to see @belltonesynthworks featured by @whyy and extra special of them to give us a shout for the upcoming Ambient Open Mic! Thank you friends!

I met Alison and Darian back in 2015 when we played a show together, and I remember her telling me she was getting into synth repair. It's been so cool to watch her skills and reputation soar and see the amazing stuff they're doing at Bell Tone with the showroom and DIY workshops. And now it's come full circle as they will be hosting us and the Ambient Open Mic there this Sunday. We are in good company with fellow synth enthusiasts!

Make sure you come out, and also read the WHYY article via the link on our bio!

And if you have a good superstition that keeps away the rain, make sure you keep it up for the next 24 hours!

While we are full speed ahead on Illuminate Passyunk this Friday, we wanted to get it on your radar that we are collaborating on the next Ambient Open Mic with @belltonesynthworks! Come out to Upper Darby and be surrounded by the best gear you've ever seen, with an open house in the showroom from 4-6pm, followed by the open mic in the live studio from 6-9pm. It's a great opportunity to try out some incredible vintage synths and then hear some fantastic ambient music!

Use the link in the bio to sign up if you want to play! If you have already filled out the form or put on the waitlist i past months, you do not need to sign up again, we will reach out! We have a decent waitlist from August of both new people and repeats, so we will be churning through that, but if we can't fit you in this month, we'll keep you on the list and reach out as soon as you're up!

~~~
If this is your first time hearing about the Ambient Open Mic, it’s an event we put on to create a low pressure environment for ambient and electronic musicians to play live and share their art with the community. You don’t need expensive gear to play! It is a welcoming space for everyone, whether it’s your first time playing out or you’re a veteran, or you just want to enjoy the live music.
