Today I had to say goodbye to my brother from another mother. @cheftomvalentiofficial was the OG. He first impressed me with his composed dishes. Then he moved me with his huge heart. He was the pro from Dover, could clean a kitchen in 15 mins flat, could charm the ladies, and taught many of you cooks out there how to be better. I don’t know how to process this loss, but TV wherever you end up, I hope there’s a feast waiting to greet you. R. I. P. My friend 💔 by @thelyingbreadbaker

Went to Low Desert/Modern Mexican in Smoketree last night and had the most delicious and not exactly your usual Mexican fare as their menu is super creative and each dish has a twist! I will go back as there’s so much left to try!! Super casual and well priced and yummy cocktails too. The Al Pastor Street Taco and the Brussels Sprout Corn Mix were fantastic! by @thelyingbreadbaker

Today the 22nd my terribly handsome father would be turning 107. Thinking of you and wishing we could have one more lunch together, just us two at your favorite NY haunt The “21” Club. He always had the chicken salad with Lorenzo dressing. Love and miss you Daddy 💗 by @thelyingbreadbaker

The 24 hour Economic Blackout
As our first initial act, we turn it off.
For one day we show them who really holds the power.

WHEN:
Friday February 28th from
12:00 AM to 11:59 PM

WHAT NOT TO DO:
Do not make any purchases
Do not shop online, or in-store
No Amazon, No Walmart, No Best Buy
Nowhere!
Do not spend money on:
Fast Food
Gas
Major Retailers
Do not use Credit or Debit Cards for non essential spending

WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Only buy essentials of absolutely necessary
(Food, Medicine, Emergency Supplies)
If you must spend, ONLY support small, local businesses.

SPREAD THE MESSAGE
Talk about it, post about it, and document your actions that day!

WHY THIS MATTERS!
~ Corporations and banks only care about their bottom line.

~ If we disrupt the economy for just ONE day, it sends a powerful message.
~ If they don’t listen (they wont) we make the next blackout longer (We will)

This is our first action.
This is how we make history.
February 28th
