Sefrou taught me many lessons — on interconnectedness, genuine love that cracks your heart open and respect to the roots and the ancestral wisdom.
Last Thursday was an evening of shared JOY; an endless gratitude for all the meaningful connections, trust and alignment of vision, appreciation and care I’ve encountered along the way of creating
The Invisible Threads of Creativity zine — an ode to the Moroccan eternal guardians of the thread of life.

For the launch, I’ve invited my dearest friend Yasmine @yeddin_studio , whose work, created with so much love, carries stories, memories and textures through that same invisible thread, transcending time and spaces. This moment of alignment couldn’t be happier and more blessed. Choukran bzaf my dear!👑🪬🤍

Thank you @studionocturne_ for hosting us with so much care and attention on that special and hot evening and @hala_chekri for the curated Playlist. ✨🤍

Endless Gratitude to the artisans’ community of Sefrou, to Jess from @culturevulturesfezsefrou , @taha.elhoumam , the most incredible artists and friends without whom this project would have only been a dream - @nazarzar (cover art), @ismailelaaddioui (graphic design), @anassouaziz (photo direction) and @kt_she @calverts_london for printing it.
You all have my HEART. 🫀

The zine is available via @studionocturne_ or directly through me. Edition of 100, with all proceeds going to the artisans community in Sefrou.

So many hands behind beauty... so many stories.

I am so happy to share my zine “The Invisible Threads Of Creativity —Sefrou” — a creative collaborative visual storytelling project, exploring the heritage crafts of Moroccan artisans in the city of Sefrou, Morocco. The idea took shape after a month spent within Sefrou’s artisan community, as part of @culturevulturesfezsefrou Residency programme (AiR Sefrou). Time as a guest there reshaped my understanding of immersive collaboration, active listening and meaningful connection, and let curiosity lead.

Making the zine has been a labour of love, brought to life through the vision and skill of three exceptional Moroccan artists: Nassim Riad Azarzar @nazarzar , Ismail El Aaddioui @ismailelaaddioui and Anass Ouaziz @anassouaziz . Each carries a deep love of land and culture, visionary in their own right.

“The way we came to work together is a mixture of intentionality and pure alignment of care, respect and determination to tell stories in the most authentic and connected way possible.”

Edition of 100, hand-signed on the launch night 16th July, hosted by @studionocturne_ , alongside the wonderful @yeddin_studio
A5 format, 52 pages, including a special riso printed jacket cover and offset- printed inner dustjacket
Printed in London by @calverts_london , with special thanks to the amazing @kt_she

The zine will be available to buy at the launch event, Thursday, 16th July at @studionocturne_ , and ordered directly to me (DMs are open for pre-order).
All proceeds are going back to the artisans community in Sefrou.
Zine launch playlist curation by masterminds @hala_chekri @anassouaziz

I will be forever grateful for the generosity, kindness and wisdom of everyone involved in this project that lived in my heart and mind for over a year now.
You all have my whole HEART!🫀
A work that celebrates and is centred around Moroccan creativity has to rely on and use the native talent to showcase that in each and every aspect, otherwise it would have not been what it claims to be.

To raise money for families in Palestine, I am offering my time and expertise as a digital and cultural strategist to anyone in the creative community and industry that requires a fresh perspective on their digital channels, audience development, marketing and managing of their content and practice.

HOW: BOOK a private 1hr 1-2-1 online consulting session with me - a strategist with over 10 years experience in the creative industries (art and fashion), over the summer period, and HELP families in Palestine.
This is a direct call to action, inspired by @citythrifter weekly fundraising Community Care Fund initiative for Palestinian families. All the donations will benefit the people of Gaza and Palestine. ❤️🇵🇸

IMPORTANT: the session is priced at £50 per hour, paid via @citythrifter PayPal and comment COMMUNITY CARE FUND. Choose FRIENDS and FAMILY OPTION to avoid fees and avoid referencing to Palestine as the system blocks it.
Reference CultureTOLD and DONATE.
All money raised WILL BE distributed DIRECTLY to families in Palestine.
Kayt offers full transparency on how the funds are distributed, and you can always donate directly to any family- links are in bio.
To book a session - hit the email link in bio.

SHARE with your friends and spread the word. Solidarity is a global movement. ❤️🇵🇸♾️ taken in London, United Kingdom by @themaidofhorror

What summertime feels like. Memories of Bulgarian sunflowers, sweet and refreshing atay, calm and collected herons, art that pulls the heart strings, demands for justice and friends that feel like home.
A reminder that we only have each other. 🌞🌻 🫖🐎🇵🇸🫀

I often think about how interconnected we truly are. That everything is related and all our actions carry consequences globally. We don’t live in insulated bubbles and our responsibilities stretch beyond our comfort zones. Community isn’t a buzzword and neither is solidarity. We only have each other.
Sharing @citythrifter , @yoness_sefyaoui and @empowering.roots posts here, to support and consider acknowledging and donating. 🤲🏼❤️🇵🇸🇲🇦 by @themaidofhorror

What you see isn’t AI generated, it’s the reality for the Moroccan youth, standing up peacefully for their fundamental rights to access to education, better healthcare and opportunities.
A lot of the arrests and people in detainment are award- winning creators in tech, musicians, graphic designers and photographers. These are leading voices in the industry, not some random punks or looters. Detaining people who also happened to in the public space, without any valid reason, is against their constitutional rights.
If you’ve ever been to Morocco, had the food, lounged in the riads and bought the baskets and rugs, consider supporting the people who’s voice is not heard and rights not respected.
Love to all my friends. ✊🏽❤️‍🔥 #free_koulchi #free_hamza #free_nizar #free_raid
