Watches, whisky and good company at The Malt Affair Vol X Took my Kuoe Old Smith 90-002 out, caught some seriously nice Seikos, Tissots and Casios, and got to explore a few whiskies along the way. Still a whisky rookie, but always happy to learn, taste and discover. Met some great people sharing the same passion for watches and whisky. Definitely a day well spent โฑ๏ธ๐Ÿฅƒโœจ #themaltaffair #watchcollector #whiskey #kuoe #horology taken in Singapore / Singapura / ๆ–ฐๅŠ ๅก / เฎšเฎฟเฎ™เฏเฎ•เฎชเฏเฎชเฏ‚เฎฐเฏ by @themaltaffair

Came for the Moncreiffe, stayed for the people. ๐Ÿฅƒ An unforgettable tasting with Geert Berto โ€” because whisky isnโ€™t just about whatโ€™s in the glass, but who you share it with. by @themaltaffair

Billy Tham, co-founder of whisky festival The Malt Affair (@themaltaffair ), has more than 500 whiskies in his private collection. It is mostly made up of single malt Scotch, โ€œdiscreetlyโ€ stored in built-in cupboards, which could easily pass off as a kitchenette in his living room. Over the years, he has made many friends from visiting more than 180 whisky bars around the world and also tracks online whisky auctions and stores, private collections of influential collectors and bottlers, and attends festivals to keep abreast of developments. He shares three significant whiskies from his collection. #whiskycollector #rarewhisky #whisky by @themaltaffair

TMA Vendor Spotlight: Scout Drinks (KC Fan) -- Every journey begins with a simple question. What if whisky could be experienced without the influence of labels, reputation, or expectation? That question became the foundation of our brand. As my passion for whisky grew, I began traveling from Taiwan to whisky and spirits exhibitions around the world. Along the way, I had the privilege of meeting distillers, industry experts, collectors, and fellow enthusiasts who generously shared their knowledge, stories, and passion. Those conversations shaped the way I understand whisky today. I came to realize that the most memorable drams are not defined by a famous distillery, an age statement, or a record-breaking price. They are discovered in the moment we set aside our preconceptions and allow the whisky to speak for itself. That belief inspired the creation of this brand. We believe whisky should be a personal journeyโ€”one driven by curiosity rather than reputation, and by genuine enjoyment rather than expectation. Every bottle deserves to be appreciated for what it truly is, not simply for the name on its label. Our hope is to encourage every whisky lover to explore with an open mind, embrace the unexpected, and discover new favourites through honest tasting. Because to us, the finest whisky is not necessarily the rarest or the most expensive. It is the one that lets you relax, enjoy the present moment, and naturally reach for a second pour. That is the experience we hope to share. Every bottle deserves an honest sip๐Ÿฅƒ See you at TMA.
