POSTS STORIES REELS

Most people see the finished piece.

What they don't see is the precision required to turn a flat printed sheet into something that folds perfectly thousands of times over. It all happens in the blink of an eye so we've slowed it down here for you.

Every panel has to align. Every crease must be accurate. Every stage depends on the one before it.

It's a reminder that print is often as much engineering as it is communication.

Here's something we missed earlier this year: A fascinating read from The Guardian highlighting something many already know - reports of print's demise may have been greatly exaggerated.

In the article, writer Alexander Hurst describes a thriving culture of magazines, newspapers, bookshops and long-form reading in France, arguing that, in an age of screen fatigue, endless scrolling and AI-generated content, readers are increasingly drawn to the trust, depth and permanence of print.

As Hurst puts it, there's something different about getting lost in a physical publication rather than one of a hundred open browser tabs. The experience is slower, more intentional and often more memorable.

For publishers, brands and readers alike, that's a powerful reminder that printed publications continue to offer something uniquely valuable: attention.

In a world fighting harder than ever for people's attention, perhaps the enduring appeal of magazines isn't surprising at all.

Perfect Bind or Saddle Stitch?

Choosing the right binding matters. But what’s the difference?

✅️ Perfect Bound: Premium, sleek, durable, and suited to larger publications with a wider range of paginations.

✅️ Saddle Stitched: Budget friendly, quick, lightweight, and ideal for shorter publications.

There's no one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to binding. Perfect bound and saddle stitched each offer distinct advantages!

Still can’t decide? Contact us today; we'll be delighted to help you through the process ☺️

🚫 Myth: Paper is bad for the environment.
✅ Reality: Paper is highly recycled and naturally sustainable.

Many people assume paper is environmentally harmful. The reality is that paper comes from a natural renewable resource, with respected forestry certification schemes helping ensure responsible sourcing ♻️

In fact, in 2024, 53.4 million tonnes of paper were collected and recycled in Europe, resulting in a 75% recycling rate (Two Sides UK).

As a proud member of Two Sides UK , we're committed to sharing the facts about print, paper and sustainability.

Here at The Manson Group, we’re determined to support a more sustainable future for print!

We're noticing it's Kind of Chic to prefer paper over pixels at the moment...

While lots of people are endlessly scrolling, print is still making people pause. From magazines to catalogues, some things are simply better in print.

And we think that's Kind of Chic.

Ready to take your design from screen to print? We'd love to help. Send us a message.

It's waste, but it's not wasted...

This is the trimmed paper waste from our binding process making its way down our recycling chute to our waste compactor. A simple but important part of ensuring material that can't be used in the finished product is still put to good use in the recycling process.

Mesmerising to watch, and even more satisfying knowing it's supporting a lower-waste process.

Technology helps us print. People help us perfect it.

Every project that passes through our factory is checked, handled, and reviewed by experienced members of our team. While our equipment delivers precision, it's the human eye that catches the details that matter most.

Because exceptional print quality comes from more than machines. It comes from people who care.

Do you really need to print this?

We've all been there. A document gets printed, then left on the printer, replaced by a newer version, or never used at all.

Reducing waste matters. But so does challenging misconceptions.

Paper is one of the world's most recycled materials, with a 79% recycling rate across Europe. That's why the environmental impact of printed publications is often very different from the negative perception surrounding them.

Good sustainability decisions come from understanding the full picture. Print isn't perfect, but it's also not the environmental villain it's sometimes made out to be.

We're members of @TwoSidesUK , the organisation that seeks out and challenges misinformation directed at the print and paper industry.

Thousands of visitors. Global aviation leaders. Tight security. Daily deadlines.
No pressure then! 😅
Last week, we were behind the production and delivery of Flight Daily at the Farnborough International Airshow. From getting each edition printed on time to making sure copies reached the right locations across a busy, highly secure event site, everything had to run like clockwork.
Huge credit to the team for making it happen every single day. We're always proud to support events where reliability really matters.
