Honored to be recognized as a Top 10 Town Manager for 2025. ✨

Leadership, at its best, looks like listening, collaborating, and showing up—especially when it’s hard. This work is never about one person or politics; it’s about meeting real needs, building trust, and serving people with integrity, vision, and care. 🩶

The sacrifice is real—and while I don’t always show how heavy some days can be, the work is worth it. The love, support, and encouragement from a few—the ones who truly see the work—make this profession far less thankless than it can sometimes feel.

Grateful for the mentors, colleagues, elected officials, and community members who continue to push me to lead with purpose and heart. Proud of the work we’re doing together—and even more committed to what’s ahead.

Onward. Always for the people. 🥂

Every time you keep a promise to yourself, you build a little more confidence. Over time, you transform—and your life follows.

Side note: One of the things I love most about hobbies, especially the ones that push you outside your comfort zone, is how the confidence you build in one area can spill over into another.

Like swallowing your pride, risking looking absolutely ridiculous, and learning line dances. 🤣

That residual confidence can show up in other parts of life—like being more authentic, taking more risks, and being a little more fearless at work.

If confidence is a sticking point, go learn something new.

Find something that requires practice and has a community attached to it.

The community part isn’t required, but I’ve found that many people who struggle with confidence also struggle with isolation and vulnerability. Failing in community helps with both.

It’s uncomfortable. 😩🤣
And, at the same time, it’s healthy.

Sometimes confidence isn’t something you think your way into.

Sometimes you practice your way into it. ✨✨✨

My birthday gift to myself (in June) was a little side quest to Vegas to see Jeezy with my best bro @shurland_knows—and it turned into one of the best birthday trips I could’ve asked for.

I experienced an entirely different side of Vegas this time around. Turns out, life really is better off the Strip. ❤️

The icing on the proverbial birthday cake was crossing paths with some of my favorite people along the way. My favorite framily members @shurland_knows and his wife showed me a great time, and somehow I also crossed paths with fellow adventurist and Realtor @chelseapandora and OG Sunday Dinner crew member @shananikins.

Great show. Off-the-Strip adventures. Relaxation. Good eats. Fast cars. Countless laughs. And plenty of core memories to carry with me.

Couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate another trip around the sun. 🥂🏾♾️
