Proud to support the @magellancommunitycharities Gala tonight at @liuna183 — a project truly near and dear to my heart.

With my own grandpa (and my late grandmother) in long-term care, I know how important it is for our seniors to have a place where they can speak their language, enjoy their food, socialize and take part in activities that reflect their culture.

That’s why this project means so much: the first long-term care home for Portuguese seniors in Ontario will finally give our community’s elders a space built for them, with them in mind.

I was honoured to donate an autographed @cristiano #Ronaldo soccer ball to support tonight’s fundraising efforts — doing our small part, brick by brick, to help make this dream a reality.

Proud of our community. Proud to give back. Let’s continue to donate and support. We’re stronger together. 🙏🏠❤️🇨🇦🇵🇹

Thank you all for the birthday wishes — I truly felt the love from afar. Sending hugs from beautiful Greece. 💙🇬🇷

#Greece whispers in sunsets like a love letter. Each blue door holds stories untold. To wander ancient ruins and quiet cobblestone streets, to sail the shimmering Aegean Sea— travel here is a journey of the heart and soul. Efharistó, third times a charm 🙏🏛️🚢✈️🌎

Portuguese 🇵🇹 malassadas hit different when they’re made by the ladies who keep our traditions alive.❤️

@thematthewshow and I went straight to the source at the Senhor Santo Cristo Festa in Brampton, Canada. 🇨🇦

The secret ingredient? These ladies. 👏

Who else knows that the best malassadas always come from the festa ladies?!

Lights. Camera. Red carpet. ✨😎🔥📸 A true full-circle moment. For the past 10 years, I’ve covered TIFF from behind the camera, interviewing the stars and capturing the magic of the festival in my own city. This year, I had the opportunity to step to the other side of the lens and get the full red carpet experience. Thank you @viewthevibe and @fashioncanada for the invite. #BeBold #unapologeticallyOurselves #TIFF2026 @tiff_net #fashiontheones 🎬 taken in TIFF Toronto International Film Festival by @thematthewshow

I’m back in North America for a truly special and emotional weekend in Fall River. Honoured to participate in my role as Councillor of the Azorean Diaspora for Ontario in the 40th anniversary of the Grand Holy Ghost Feasts of New England.

Proud to witness the largest Holy Spirit celebration outside the Azores and to accompany the President of the Government of the Azores and the former President of the Portuguese Republic.

For decades, Canadians have played an important role in these celebrations, travelling by bus and bringing our philharmonic bands, organizations and folklore groups to Fall River. These connections build bridges and strengthen the bonds between our communities across Canada, the United States and the Azores.

A special congratulations to my dear friend Márcia Sousa-DaPonte, the first woman President in the history of this organization. Your leadership, vision and strength brought new life to this year’s festas while helping shape the next generation to carry this beloved tradition forward. So proud of you, my friend!

Thank you to the New England community for the incredible hospitality and for making me feel so welcome. It was an honour to celebrate alongside you.
