If this pandemic had hit ten years ago, when my career was still early in its development, I would have been in big trouble. It’s my belief that in times like these, it becomes even more necessary, for those that can, to help people who are struggling to help themselves. With that in mind, I’m launching a project that I hope will do just that.
For music industry professionals who have found themselves without income for the foreseeable future, @MusiCares wants to provide assistance. As of the time of this post, the fund is unable to receive any more applications for help, as it has already more than doubled the number approved applicants from any year prior to this one. It’s time to help refill the coffers.
For a time, I’ll offer what I know to help you get your gear in order, via 20-minute online sessions, in exchange for donations to the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund. Guitar playing funny? Unsure of how your effects are setup? Looking for specific tones and can’t quite get there? I’m happy to help with any of this stuff, and potentially more.
Shoot me an email or DM and let’s see what we can do. *I am in no way affiliated with MusiCares, and in the interest of transparency, all donations will be made directly at the MusiCares site. I won’t accept payment of any kind. 📷: @vorrasi by @themichaelluke
