@tierney_studio's stunning studio work of @themichaelmanuel. 📸 ✨ w/ @opticslabfilm

Shot on Optics Lab Sakawa Pan (Fujifilm 4771), available now online at theopticslab.com (link in bio)!

With virtually invisible grain and deep blacks, this film stock is an absolute pleasure creatively and exhibits characteristics hard to match in 35mm format.

Last night we celebrated the life of our dear friend Winston Rocha. It was so nice to be in a theatre with his family and friends- his spirit was in the room with us. I know there were so many that were unable to make it, but know that we felt your presence as well. Special thanks to José Cruz González for helping me organize the celebration and to Armando Molina for letting us use Company of Angels to gather.

I just wanted to leave this here as a post. In case anyone has missed the stories.
Also, I wanted to include some updated information that I posted to GoFundMe:
Hi beautiful friends of Winston,

I just wanted to thank you all for your unbelievable generosity and support.
I also wanted to give you an update on the current situation.
I saw Winston today with his dear friend Don, his daughter Camille and his son Richard. We spent some time with him telling him how much we love him. I shared with him how many people were sending him love and prayers. Winston is no longer able to communicate - he is, I believe - transitioning. Although he is not communicating verbally- I could feel his breathing shift when Don, Camille, Richard and I whispered to him.

Some good news - Eros is recuperating in the animal hospital and I will be picking him up as soon as they will allow me to - and our dear friend, and all around hero, Eileen Galindo, has offered to foster Eros and give him his new forever home.

Thank you again.
Sending all of you hugs and love,

Michael by @themichaelmanuel
