Every month, our sweet misties come together virtually to learn from each other and from subject matter experts about things we can do to improve our experience with womanhood.

In July, the beautiful @themichellesingleton graced us with her presence and empowered us with her knowledge.

She taught us how to partner with plants to optimize how our minds and bodies function. As you read through the images shared in this post, if you find yourself needing support in any of the areas mentioned, please reach out to her so she can provide you with the individualized guidance you deserve.

If you would like to listen to the recording, please shoot us a DM and we’ll send it to you.

@themichellesingleton Thank you again so much for your time and for all you do to support those you serve. We are so grateful!

On August 25th, we’ll be discussing things that can happen to our bodies postpartum. If you want to join the conversation either to learn or to share your experiences so others can learn from you, please let us know and we’ll send you the link to join ☺️

Postpartum is sacred. It is said that, how a woman is cared for in the first 40 days postpartum has an impact on her health for the next 40 years. Throwback of me preparing a postpartum healing box for one of my postpartum clients/friend. taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @themichellesingleton

Mama and dada had their first child free trip in 2+ years. It was so needed and I was so sad 😭(these breastfeeding hormones are real AF) to leave my baby boy. He was 10 months and we’re still nursing so I had to pump 5-6x a day for 5 days to maintain supply. Love wearable pumps @momcozy because life with a toddler and baby is HARD and the convenience while traveling. I also brought a manual @lansinohusa pump and hand expressed after my sessions (for a few minutes) to fully empty the breasts while away. This mama brought back all of her pumped milk. I didn’t count what I brought back but i left about 120 ounces with grandma. I learned some things with traveling with breastmilk. Going through TSA with frozen breastmilk allows you to skip the additional screening. Knowing your airline's policies will also help the process. Let me know if y’all want to know more about the products I used and more details on my process. Happy Pumping☺️ #blackmamasmatters #blackmamasbreastfeeding #blackmomsbreastfeeding by @themichellesingleton
