The anguish of heartbreak is something all too familiar to me, and so I often find myself writing from it 🍷✍🏽

What would heartbreak taste like?
I found that the word "Sanguine" is often used in wine tasting, and one of it's definitions is "blood-red". It describes wine that resembles blood in colour and has iron flavors or aromas.

It also means to be optimistic in a bad or difficult situation.

The feelings of grief in a breakup, part one: bitterness

It's ironic to feel bitterness for someone you once loved. But that bitterness can also come from a lot of other parts, like how things ended, not having what you desired, feeling like you let it go too simply, maybe your own shortcomings.

But it's a feeling to be careful about, especially because of how toxic it can get.
