May 24, 1996 - 30 years ago today - I graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy.

It's still one my most proud accomplishments in life.

I'll forever be thankful for the challenges, the experiences, and the opportunity to serve our great nation. And I'll forever be thankful that I made it through, when there were plenty of times it looked like I might not. 😀🙌

And I'll especially be forever thankful to the many, many people who encouraged me, supported me, consoled me, in big ways and small, during that oft-harrowing and exhausting journey. I truly could not have done it on my own 🙏❤️ taken in U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD by @themisterladd

At home in Rockaway with @newyorkdippersclub or any time I traveled - Albany, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, New Orelans, California, and even Irelend - I would find a moving body of water to Dip in, every day, and 96% of the time it was ocean 💙🌊
