I made something kinda cool with the person I collaborate best with, my artist in crime @raulsanchezijorge. Yeah, it’s also to let you know about the scarves I made and that because they are limited edition- there aren’t that many left. But back to the music, he said “Can I make you some music one day to go with the stuff you make?” I was like “Sure!” - of course. He made a jazzy tune and because I can’t handle anything straight ahead, I said “can we make it weird? What about a Theramin and some kind of feedback?” We settled on a Theramin and a Leslie. It was such an honour to make this dress for @adalitax . The glimmering, featherweight silky lurex just looks so divine on her especially on stage. It was a labour of love and I really valued being able to test out the bias cutting and gown making skills that I had taught myself in the lockdown for the degree. FYI that silk was like working with butterfly wings! 🦋 🖤🖤🖤🖤 by @themoonofdesire

I’m getting ready to go on a Japanese tour with my band next week and spending all day putting together outfits and altering all my dresses to wear on stage. I pulled out this and thought you may be interested that this is the scarf that’s started my love of them. It was my nanna’s. She bought it in Paris in the 50s. It’s just so Parisian. It’s lovely soft matte silk with seed beaded poodles every so often 🐩. She’s so precious that I can’t wear her often 🖤 The last photo is just how I feel when I wear it 💋 by @themoonofdesire

They are made out of deadstock Italian silk that I collected over the last couple few years from New York and have been waiting to use. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported myself and my art by purchasing a scarf. I have been hard at work this last week hand stitching and fulfilling orders. I appreciate you alot 🖤 This last two days has seen me trying to catch the right light so I can show you the next pretty project that I’ve been promising. The styling doesn’t seem to come out the same way as it did the last shoot. And then there is the editing! There is never enough hours in the weekend.
