Welsh classic challenge - Silver 14+ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿✨

First time competing at new level, with lots of new skills! Overall she is so happy with her competition today! 🥰 Ella performed clean routines on floor, beam and vault, had an error on bars but she stayed on and that’s a positive to take away after falling 3 times on her bars last week and not competing bars a couple of weeks ago! ✨

Lots of set backs this comp season with injuries that we weren’t sure if she would be competing but she pulled through and went and performed today with confidence and that is everything we always wish for! She has handled the pressure of high level comps so well and we are soo proud of her! 🥰

4th AA - Silver 14+ 🥈🥉🥉5th🎗️

Ella was hoping for a clean competition yesterday but unfortunately it wasn’t her day for bars 😅 I am so proud of the fight she put in to try not to fall and so proud of how she handled it and continued with the competition and didn’t let it bother her! ♥️

This shows just how much Ella has grown in confidence by not letting things that go wrong affect the rest of the competition and I think for me as her mum that was the best thing I could have seen today! 🥰

Competing at a higher level than last year with new and more difficult skills she made me proud, a few weeks back we didn’t think Ella would be competing due to injuries so there is lots of positives to take away from this competition and now to work these bars and hope for clean routine next weekend 🤞🏼

Each competition is a chance to learn, a chance to reflect and a chance to grow. Two weeks ago Ella fell on beam and floor and wasn’t able to compete bars. She brushed it off and focussed on the next and today she landed all her tumbles on floor and stayed on beam! Well done to everyone who competed today 👏🏼👏🏼 by @themurraysiblings

Trying something new 👀✨ @ellesense1to1training 🤸‍♀️

Lillie loved her session with Maisie, working on her shapes in her swings + also getting to try something new 🤩

Lillie was on and off the loop bar doing some shape work on the floor then getting back up on the bar, this was to break it down and help her understand the shapes she needed on the bar. When explaining something to Lillie it can often take a while for her to understand so having that time in a 1-1 allows more time to go back and forth and over it as much as you need until tour gymnast understands 🥰

I absolutely loved Ella’s floor yesterday despite an unfortunate fall on her last tumble she still placed 4th and it still deserved a share 🥹♥️

So proud of Ella today going out there with a smile on her face and doing her best! 🥰 The last few months have been full of injuries and recovery meaning no tumbles or vault each time! Physio think it’s mainly to do with growth and we have a follow up appointment this month! We didn’t even think she would be competing so I am super proud! 🥰

Ella has worked so hard leaning new skills and putting them into her routines and these injuries keep setting her back! Her first apparatus was beam and unfortunately she fell on her tuck back, second was floor which was gorgeous despite the fall! Vault went okay but as she was warming up her final piece bars she landed awkwardly on her fly away dismount and rolled her ankle, due to this she wasn’t able to compete bars which she was looking forward to so was absolutely gutted! 😞

So greatful for how supportive her coach was ♥️

As they say… the come back is better than the set back 👀😆

Lillie had a fab 1:1 session this morning with @ellesense1to1training 💪🏼🤩

Does your gymnast want extra support with a skill? Do they want to build their confidence? Are they struggling with something that just doesn’t seem to click? Having that individual time gives a coach and gymnast more time to work with each other, you could spend a whole session on something in particular if you wanted or needed to! ✨

Such a fun session today and she can’t wait for the next 😁
