Lime plaster and limecrete floor for the beautiful renovation of this Xisto ruin in Portugal.
Project done during this summer, and all I can say is: it was “chaud chaud cacaó!” But we made it🤟🏽
3 layers of plaster, loooots of lime putty, alone work and teamwork, ups and downs, lots of tests (to get to the desired colour) and muito muito muito sweaaaat 🥵😅

Working with clients is not always easy, and requires patience and the willingness to explain and sometimes slow down the pace. But I really enjoy it, and getting to know them and their stories creates a special connection between us and my work gains more sense. Because I am not only “plastering” some walls, I’m helping them to create their humble abode. A home with walls that will breathe, and will hold them and their memories together and safe 🤍🩶🤎🏡

Thanks to Flo and family for trusting in my work, and for all the sharing, the conversations, the lunches and delicious cafecitos 🫶 your support and cariño makes my work have so much more sense! Good luck moving in, can’t wait to come and visit 🩶

I also had the honour and privilege to have @thenaturalplasterer collaborating with me in the last finishing layer ! What an awesome, talented, fun and hardworking guy 🫶💪🏽 Obrigada meu amigo for coming over and accepting my offer (even without knowing me ahaha). A full week of plastering, testing, laughing, and sharing knowledge and tips: the dream :) We did it dudeman ! Comeback whenever, you know you have a casita and a familia here ❤️ by @thenaturalplasterer
