#teachersTheo Clinkard, who joined the event a few years ago, returns to Summer Dance Intensive Vilnius 2026. Theo is a queer dance artist based in rural England, with a background of 18 years performing for leading choreographers and a practice spanning choreography, teaching, performance and design.During the intensive in Vilnius, he will lead creative and technical contemporary dance workshops. Theo’s classes aim to deepen dancers’ sensory awareness of space, fellow movers, and themselves in motion. ✨Full programme is coming next week! —Prieš kelerius metus renginyje viešėjęs Theo Clinkard sugrįžta į Summer Dance Intensive Vilnius 2026. Theo – queer šokio menininkas, gyvenantis Anglijos kaime. Jo kūrybinė praktika apima choreografiją, pedagogiką, atlikimą ir scenos dizainą, o taip pat jis 18 metų šoko žymių choreografų darbuose.Intensyvių mokymų metu Vilniuje jis ves kūrybines ir technines šiuolaikinio šokio dirbtuves. Last day here in Cardiff with @ndcwales restaging ‘Ordinary Courage’ (2012). Huge loving thanks to these brilliant empathic dancers who have deepened the work and are holding it so carefully and fearlessly:@alysinwonderland97 @s.rizgold @pandrewscott @sonnyconnorbell @jilly_goh @ed.myhill Big love to @georgehwale for hand-making this incredible new life size brown bear. Zerlina @studiozna for her expert (lighting) eye and generosity @cliodnashanahan for her exquisite piano playing, @lukepellmakesspace for holding my hand, the most hardworking @robertslvictoria and Geraint for being so ‘on it’ and @bakanipickup for this beautiful invite to return to my first dance when I didn’t yet know I really needed to.I had wet cheeks throughout yesterday’s run and have found the whole process so unexpectedly cathartic as I navigate recent loss.
