This is my first post in a while, it is my painting of the 1997-2001 A-Pix Entertainment logo, Founded in 1993, A-Pix Entertainment was a subsidiary of Unapix Entertainment Productions, which was like a multimedia company, A-Pix specialized in film distribution and production, the company shut down in 2001, when Unapix Entertainment filed for bankruptcy, but the A-Pix name was used in a limited fashion until 2003, the compan’s library was purchased by a distributor named Ardustry Home Entertainment, who was founded independently from Unapix but they would purchase the company’s movie library. #apixentertainment #unapixentertainment #ardustryhomeentertainment #alluminationfilmworks #phase4films by @theodorebaransky

This is my painting of the 1995 Fox Lorber Home Video logo that I did back in January of this year. Fox Lorber Home Video was founded by Richard Lorber in 1981, they were initially distributed by New Video Group, but then when they left in 1993, they took their distribution to Orion Home Video, but then when they were having financial problems, Fox Lorber went on its own, later being acquired by WinStar Communications, Fox Lorber Home Video switched its name to Fox Lorber Films in 1999, and later went defunct in 2001 after WinStar filed for bankruptcy. #foxlorber #foxlorberhomevideo #foxlorberfilms #orionhomevideo #newvideo #newvideogroup #foriegnlanguagefilm #independentfilms #antoniasline #infinity #abrotherskiss #mrsdalloway #thebigsqueeze #bostonkickout #fistofthenorthstar #onegoodturn #americanyakuza2 #maddogsandenglishmen #shameless #clockwatchers #ran #themanwhofelltoearth #weddingbellblues #mrjealousy #thetwilightofthegolds #theleadingman #downhillwillie #tenbenny #hugopool #acouchinnewyork by @theodorebaransky

This is the last picture of my CEL painting, CEL was founded in 1982 as PBV (Publishing and Broadcasting Video), a division of Publishing and Broadcasting Limited, a company owned by Kerry Parker, and released their videos across 8 different labels. PBV was renamed CEL in 1984, and discontinued all of their prior brands, as well as expanding into theatrical distribution, they would also loose the rights to release MGM/UA movies and go bankrupt in 1999. #pbv #publishingandbroadcasting #cel #communicationsandentertainmentltd #celvideo #mgmuahomevideo #starvideo #embassyhomeentertainment #australianvideo #filmworldfestival #playaroundvideo #storytimecollection #muppethomevideo #starscreen #lorimar by @theodorebaransky
