𝐄𝐔 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 (𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐮𝐠 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔)

Beginning 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟎𝐭𝐡, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, Theogonia Records will 𝐩𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐔 (𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐝) until further notice.

This decision is directly tied to the EU’s new 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐏𝐏𝐖𝐑), which introduces extensive administrative, reporting, and recycling‑fee obligations for every seller shipping goods into each of the 27 EU member states. Under the new rules, small independent businesses must register in every country they ship to, appoint authorized representatives, track and report packaging materials, and pay multiple layers of fees, with 𝐧𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬.

For a label of our size, the combined cost of registrations, representatives, base fees, tax fees, and ongoing reporting obligations far exceeds our total operating budget. As a result, continuing direct retail sales to EU customers is no longer financially viable, despite being an EU‑based business ourselves.

Our physical releases will 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 through our USA and EU distribution partners, and we will continue shipping to them as normal. However, our online store will 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐔 (𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐝).

We sincerely apologize to our EU supporters. We hope the EU Commission reconsiders this situation in their upcoming committee vote around 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝐬𝐭, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. Independent labels shouldn’t be pushed out of their own home market.

Thank you for your understanding. by @theogoniarecords

Well... The wait is over.

We are extremely proud to finally introduce the newest member of the AmongRuins family: Stelios Pepinidis, our new drummer.

Stelios has been a friend of ours for years, and we have watched and admired him behind the kit long before he became part of AmongRuins. We’ve seen him play with different bands, on different stages, and every time, the same thought kept coming back: One day, we want that guy behind our drum kit. Guess what!!! Now, he finally is!

His sound is exactly what we wanted for AmongRuins: massive, tight, aggressive and precise. Pure headbanging material and we know he’ll give everything he has to this band and make the whole crowd move.

But his role in AmongRuins goes beyond the drum kit.

He has already been helping us with many aspects of the band, and from now on, he will also be the man behind many of the videos and visual content we’ll be sharing with you through our social media.

And this is only the beginning.

We already know that the next record we make together is going to be a different experience, even for us. We are genuinely excited to see where this combination takes AmongRuins, both in the studio and on stage.

So, welcome to the family, Stelios.

Together, we’re going to give you the best AmongRuins experience we possibly can, in the studio and, most importantly, on live stage.

Promise.

As a little taste of what’s coming, a drum performance of “Advent of Chaos” will take place the next few days.

And while we’re here, we want to give a massive thank you to our previous drummer, Scott Naylor (@thatnegativedrummer ) who stood behind the AmongRuins drum kit and carried the role with everything he had. He is one of the best guys we could have shared this journey with, and although our paths are now separating for purely practical reasons, there is nothing but respect and gratitude from our side. We wish him nothing but the best for everything that lies ahead for him in England.

New chapter. Same fire.

See you on the stage.

‼️ NEW SINGLE ‼️

Following the release of our album Songs From The Veil, we are incredibly happy to release one more song, and the final chapter of this journey.

“VIIMEINEN AAMUNKOI”
is now available worldwide! ❄️

https://youtu.be/3Yp-3QSzjsw

Written during the Songs From The Veil songwriting sessions, this composition was ultimately left off the album due to the albums already extended runtime and its Finnish lyrics. Originally intended to become one of the album’s most thematically distinctive songs, it has now been brought back to life as a standalone single for our 2026 European Tour.

Recorded entirely by the band and mixed and mastered by our guitarist Juuso Laitinen, this single is more than just a new song. It represents the final chapter of the Songs From The Veil story, and at the same time, the beginning of the next chapter of As The Sun Falls. 🎶

The song tells the tale of a Cosmic Reindeer carrying the life and existence of our universe. Every night, an archer appears to hunt it down, an eternal dance between life and death. One day, the hunter will succeed, piercing the reindeer’s heart and bringing the universe to its final end. 🦌

For the artwork of the single, we decided to work once again with Gogo Melone, who has delivered another fantastic piece of art to accompany this story.

“VIIMEINEN AAMUNKOI” is now available on all major streaming platforms and on YouTube via the link below.
