My favourite soundtrack right now? Listening to the rumble of diggers live, with a coffee in hand ☕🚜

Never would I have believed it, but here we are.

Diggers are life.

Also remembering legendary actor Sir Sam Neill 🦖 RIP

If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know I’m completely devoted to my @outnabout_official Nipper buggy... so I feel a little bit like I’m cheating by saying this 😅

But we’ve just upgraded to the Nipper Wagon and now I’m wondering why we didn’t do it sooner!

More space for the kids, loads of storage, easy to push or pull, great sun protection and still practical enough to fit in our small car boot 🙌

It’s already been a huge hit with the whole family and I can tell it’s going to be joining us on all our adventures this summer.

If you’ve been thinking about getting one you can get 10% off with code THEOUTDOORMUM (can also be used on a buggy too!) 🤍

Date night done right 🍽️

We tried out @radnorarmsfolkestone ahead of @folkestonerestaurantweek and experienced the warmest welcome with incredible food.

Folkestone Restaurant Week is 9-13th November 2026 and all menus are 2 courses for £20.26p in over 30 different restaurants.

Such a good excuse to book in a babysitter, have a night out and support local.

Midweek Magic Ep 5: The Free Zoo Hack 🦒

Did you know you can see zoo animals for FREE? Loads of them have public footpaths running right around the edge and if you’re lucky you have the chance to spot an animal if you head out on a walk.

Of course, it’s important to support zoo’s that do conservation work by paying for entry and for that reason we have a monthly membership to a local zoo too, but every now and then this is such a fun alternative, feels more like a walking safari than a zoo trip, because you genuinely never know what you’ll see.

Here’s where we went -

📍Port Lympne Reserve
🚗 Free roadside parking
☕️ Babycino and toilet stop at The Naughty Dog Cafe next to @lympnecastle
👶 carrier walk only not for buggy friendly
‼️Very steep hill

Follow along for weekly midweek magic inspiration for you and your little ones!

And comment below if you know a good footpath zoo walk that other parents might like to try

Nobody warned me that “getting outdoors with kids” meant wearing a 2 stone human heater as a rucksack. He’s chatting away up there, narrating the walk like a tiny commentator, while I’m slowly melting into my own spine. 😂

Worth every sweaty step though. Fresh air, muddy wellies and a toddler who naps the second we’re back at the car. Fair trade? I’ll let you know after my back dries. 🙃

Tag a mum or dad who’s also been turned into a pack horse this week 👇

Hi, it’s Tiggy here 🐾 My Mum has the @outnabout_official Nipper Wagon and it has totally upgraded our dog walks so I wanted to tell you why...

• Longer walks 🙌 Growing kids have room to stretch out, so we go further. It fits newborn to ~7 years (up to 60kg total), with space for two kids, or four with the 4-seat accessory.

•Rain doesn’t stop play 🙌 The rain cover is included, so the kids stay dry and I get all the puddles.

• Sunny walks, sorted 🙌 The extendable sun and UV visors keep the kids protected.

•No terrain is off limits. 12” rear and 10” front air-filled tyres handle mud, sand and bumpy trails. Mum can push or pull it, and a pull rope is included.

•Kids strapped in, so Mum only has to worry about me and the squirrels. The removable padded seats have 5-point harnesses.

•Happy mum, happy dog. There’s a cup holder (included), netting storage inside and out for snacks, and a one-piece fold that fits in the boot.

And at just 64cm wide, it’s as narrow as a standard 4-wheel stroller, so it fits through gates and doors too. Mum steers, I heel. Mostly 😜

Want one? Use my mum’s code THEOUTDOORMUM for 10% off at outnabout.com.

Midweek Magic Ep 4: Woods, Sticks & a Twilight Moment

Last week I took my boy to the woods for some proper 90s childhood energy to build ramps with sticks for his cars and enjoy the incredible energy a forest brings!

Then I had a silly idea: a Twilight-style forest montage would work sooo well here! So we had fun filming it and you get a sneak peak of how ridiculous the BTS was 😅

📍Lyminge Woods, Kent
🐾Road side parking
🌲Carrier and all terrain buggy friendly on the trails
🧡 no toilet facilities or cafes
