POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🌿 I’m hosting a SpiritGroup this season and I’d love for you to join me!

Starting on fall equinox, we’ll be reading Finding Your Walden by Jen Tota McGivney and exploring what it means to slow down, tune out some of the noise, and live with greater intention, authenticity, and connection.

Think: a good book, meaningful conversation, new friendships, a little reflection…and probably some laughs along the way. 😊

📅 We’ll meet: Monday mornings
⏰ Time: 8-9 AM EST
📍 Location/Online: Zoom in
🗓️ Our first gathering is: September 21, 2026

You don’t need to know anything about Thoreau or Transcendentalism… just bring yourself, an open mind, and a willingness to connect.
If this sounds like your kind of group, I’d love to have you!

👉 Join my SpiritGroup here: https://www.unityonthebay.org/groups#sghost

Maybe finding your Walden isn’t about escaping to the woods. Maybe it’s about creating a little more space for what matters, together. 🌿 taken in Miami, Florida by @thephoenixcodes

Turns out the rainbow wasn’t just beautiful… it was functional, too!

I just finished the color map for my analog knowledge system, where each color represents a different way of thinking, learning, and creating.

It’s inspired by the chakra system, Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, and the natural progression of human development—from foundational needs and survival to the heights of creativity, wisdom, and contribution.

Why color?

Because the brain begins recognizing visual patterns and forming associations before it consciously reads the words. Color acts as a powerful organizational cue, helping us categorize information, strengthen memory, and navigate complexity more intuitively.

Before reading a single card, your mind is already making connections.

Knowledge isn’t just stored.
It’s organized in the way the mind naturally learns.

Building a second brain that thinks in color…
Not just for funsies. 😉🌈🗂️✨

Transformation is my kink.

I am turned on by the potentiality of my self-actualization.

I get lit up when I hear others sharing their passions!

In my eyes, this is what this 3D meat suit life experience is all about… so this morning when I had some sad thoughts come up about my worth as a woman outside of the traditional marriage and motherhood path, I sat with my tender heart.

I allowed her to simply be. And I asked myself, “if no other human ever loved me again, how could I love me in this moment?”

This query pierced the veil and tears welled up as she responded, “just witness. Let me be in my totality. This deep grief is a part of my wholeness and you honor that by breathing through it. This is how you hold my hand.”

And so I did. I flipped the black mirror onto her meek countenance and allowed.

The tears flowed.

My roots were watered.

Now as I reflect on it, I feel my flowers taking to buds in the hopes that they may produce fruit in the spring.

The poetic tragedy of living is facing all of its aspects 🎭 and choosing to cultivate peace, joy and grace through it all 🐣 taken in Palmetto Bay, Florida by @thephoenixcodes
